When did a job shadow at a veterinary hospital while I was first looking into a career as a veterinary technician, a two year-old in-tact male dachshund came in with bladder stones, and it took two shots of IV propofol, as well as an isoflurane level of 7 to get him to go under completely to remove the stones. Additionally, he had also received two doses of a narcotic painkiller prior to the surgery. The OR staff said his metabolism was probably heightened by the severe pain the stones were causing him, his young age, being in-tact, and the stress of being rushed to the clinic.

It really is. Bulls are NOT to be trusted. Even after castration, I wouldn't trust that Rowdy bull in the video. Although it's not all his fault. These people were agitating the heck out of those last two bulls. But now he knows humans are easy to knock down and I wouldn't trust that he won't do it again.

I really don't like to see rescues taking on these sexually mature bulls and castrating them to make them into "pets". It's way too late for that rowdy bull. He's pretty easily unsettled and I doubt that'll change after castration. He's not a tame animal. I doubt any of them are except **maybe** that first one.
Your average cattle are not pets! 🤦🏼‍♀️

One of my childhood friends lost a brother to a bull trampling recently. He was an experienced farmer as well. Between equipment mishaps, extreme weather and unpredictable animals, farmers deal with a lot of dangers.

If you can't trust your animals then you aren't experienced in the field, my family raises American Brahman, you know the big ones with the humps on their backs, and I can walk out and hop on our primary herd sire and ride him around the field, as can any guest that we have come look at our stock, just to disprove the idiots that think Cattle are satanic and looking for that chance to gore you, if you get hurt its because you don't know or understand the animals your working with

Mr. Stewart as someone who raises some of the best Brahman cattke in the country, I can walk out into my field and hop on the herd sire and ride him around the field as he grazes, as can any visitors, child to seniors have been on him before and will be again, if you can't trust your animals and you get yourself hurt its never their fault

Rule number one whenever your with bulls make sure you have a safe place where the bulls or cows cannot get to you and make sure you can get to that safe place a girl up the farm was chasing the cows and a cow cake running for her so she jumped down a 25ft banking and broke her ligaments in her legs her mother was stuck there for 2 hours plucking out thorns and the daughter was screaming the cow still remains on the farm because they love the animals 😔

When rescues manage to get ahold of rodeo crossbred bulls.... inexperienced people are going to get hurt. Don't get in a pen with a bunch of agitated bulls, unless you're young and fast on your feet.

I’m not an animal specialists/vet, just a regular person, but, I highly doubt that one/two small syringe of drug can totally knock out a bull until he is totally unconscious, I believe the bulls are still aware of whst’s happening.

Thus, I am sure, when the guy just cut one its balls, it must be hurting like crazy!!!!
