Beautiful Tomorrow
Blue Six Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

i look up at the sky
and see the distant lights there
and pray we all will make it through this life

there's trouble in our hearts
so much crying in the dark
and nobody's religion sets it right
tell me when you think you've had enough
tell me and we'll all just swear right now
to make it stop

you'll have a
beautiful tomorrow
a beautiful tomorrow yea
a beautiful tomorrow
if you just can stop the things

you'll do today

it's like some old cliche
that boy still cries wolf, everyday
and none will come to help him when it's time

it's me who's closed my eyes
it's just too hard to sympathize
and feel the hurt so many feel on waking everyday

you'll have a
beautiful tomorrow
a beautiful tomorrow yea
a beautiful tomorrow
if you just pretend
the world has gone away

tell me when you think you've had enough

tell me and we'll all just swear right now
to make it stop

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Blue Six's "Beautiful Tomorrow" delve into the complexities of overcoming personal struggles amidst the chaos in the world. The song starts with the singer looking up at the sky and hoping that everyone can make it through life despite the troubles in our hearts and the darkness in the world. The singer questions whether any religion can alleviate the pain and suffering in the world, implying that there may be no easy answers or solutions.

The chorus then offers a glimmer of hope, promising a beautiful tomorrow if we can stop the negative actions of today. The singer acknowledges that it may seem like an old cliche to try to focus on good things and ignore the bad, but the alternative of feeling the hurt and pain of the world each day is too much to bear. The song ends with a call to action, asking listeners to speak up when they've had enough and to swear to make it stop.

Compratevi le copie fisiche, così si ama la musica non con spotify

@MrLovert

I can't believe this album came out 20 years ago. It was one of the best purchases I ever bought at Amoeba Records in Hollywood CA on March 30 2002. It was on a Saturday evening at the old location at 6400 Sunset Bld.

@TheDb1t

I have yet to hear any house or lounge music that even touches this. It's so nice, soothing, bitter-sweet, and emotional. It's such a thing... so perfect and nothing getting close to Blue Six in such time.

@Weapon26 Whole heartedly agree. Best Deep House I've ever heard.

Well boys and girls! Agreed awesome! May I suggest mushroom jazz series by mark farina! At the same time both equally seductive and intelligent? Enjoy and get back with ratings!!😂🤔👍
