The subsequent albums like "X-Ten" (1994) were heavily influenced by the then-popular Eurodance sound, featuring stronger basses and beats. The choruses were now mainly sung by female voices. However, the new musical direction did not succeed in recapturing Blue System's early successes. The most well-known single from this period is "Laila" (1995), which reached number 29 on the single charts. Other singles performed significantly worse. With the single "Love Will Drive Me Crazy" and the comeback of Modern Talking in 1998, the Blue System project ended.
Detlef Wiedeke, Michael Scholz, and Rolf Köhler, former studio singers for Blue System and Modern Talking, resumed making music in 2003 – Köhler died in September 2007 – and under the name Systems in Blue, they copied the sound and even the logo of Blue System. However, they were unable to achieve chart success.

Try the impossible - try the emotional
I know your love is irresistible
Can't you feel the groove ?
Baby, i feel it in my shoes
Can't you feel the beat ?
Babe, try and touch the beat
