Bo's first album, titled The Real Thing, was released on December 13th, 2005. It includes several original songs on which Bo shares writing credit such as “It’s My Life”, which Bo wrote with Clif Magness and Kara DioGuardi.
Bo's second album, "See The Light" was released October 23, 2007. It was recorded in his own studio, and under his own independent record label, Sugar Money (teamed up with StratArt for that project). The album was co-produced by Bo and Frank Liddell. The songs (all written by Bo, some in collaboration with friends) reflect a diverse spectrum--from all-out southern rock, country, funk, to emotional ballads.
Willing To Try
Bo Bice Lyrics

Trying to write another chapter in my life
Driving down this lonely highway deep inside
And where I'm going I don't really know
But here I go
Trying hard not to leave too much life behind
Is there something out there that I'm trying to find
Believe in us
But there are days when it's not enough
I'm not gonna change who I am
But I ain't gonna give up the fight
I don't care who's wrong or right
When it's all said and done
And you tell me you've had enough
You're thinking of giving up on love
I'm still willing to try
Here I go
Step into this spotlight on the stage
Finally realizing that I've come of age
Running my own race down life's lonesome road
So here I go
We only get one life we got to live
Let's hope we find the strength just to forgive.
If you believe in me
Like I believe in us
There ain't no way we're giving up
I'm not gonna change who I am
But I ain't gonna give up the fight
I don't care who's wrong or right
When it's all said and done
And you tell me you've had enough
You're thinking of giving up on love
I'm willing to try
When you're all alone
Feeling so far from home
Just hold on
'Cause I'm willing to try
When you're crying deep inside
Holding on to your pride
Just hold on cause I'm willing to try
If you believe in love
Believe in us
Gotta find the faith
To never give up
I'm not gonna change who I am
I'm not gonna give up the fight
I don't care who's wrong or right
Baby when it's all said and done
And you tell me you've had enough
You're thinking of giving up on love
I'm not gonna change who I am
I ain't gonna give up the fight
I don't care who's wrong or right
Baby when it's all said and done
And you tell me you've had enough
You're thinking of giving up on love
I'm still willing to try
Oh oh willing to try
The song "Willing To Try" by Bo Bice is about a person who is embarking on a new journey, uncertain of where they're headed but willing to take the risk anyway. The opening lines describe someone who is driving down a lonely highway and attempting to write a new chapter in their life. They don't know where their journey will take them, but they're hopeful that it will lead them to something worthwhile. The chorus reinforces this message, emphasizing that even though there may be days when love isn't enough, they're still willing to try.
As the song progresses, the singer speaks more directly to their partner. They declare that they're not willing to change who they are, but they're also not willing to give up the fight. They want to hold onto their love and keep trying to make things work. The bridge speaks to the idea of perseverance, with the singer offering encouragement to their partner to hold on through tough times. They state that they're willing to try no matter what, as long as there is still love present.
Overall, "Willing To Try" is a song about taking risks, fighting for love, and persevering through tough times. It offers a message of hope and resilience, encouraging listeners to keep pushing through adversity and never give up on what's important to them.
