Momentum is on Bo and the Locomotive’s side. In less than a year, they have successfully created a following out of nothing. Originally a solo project, Bo and the Locomotive has re-emerged as a full band from the city of St. Louis ready to win you over. They combine familiar feeling tunes with off-kilter melodies, balancing on the edge of traditional and experimental. They specialize in making you feel happy, sad, apart, and together all at once – making the live show captivating, if not addictive. The band has been on the road in support of their self-recorded “Golden Arms EP,” and now on the cusp of releasing their debut full-length album, Bo and the Locomotive is gearing up for 6 months of touring, traveling, and friend-making. Bo and the Locomotive features Bo Bulawsky, who has written these songs over the course of several years. He is accompanied by his two best friends, Andy and Steve, on bass and drums.

Dearest darling
Dearest darling
Don't you know
The lord above
Created you
Just for me to love
Picked you out
From all the rest
Because he knew I loved you best
Dearest darling
Dearest darling
Dearest darling, take my hand, take my hand
I once had a heart
So trill and true
But now it's gone
From me to you
Take care of it
Like I have done
For you have two hearts
And I have none
Dearest darling
Dearest darling
Dearest, yeah yeah, dearest, yeah yeah
Dearest, yeah yeah, dearest, yeah yeah
Darling, yeah yeah, darling, yeah yeah
If I get to heaven
Before you do
I'll try to make a hole
And pull you through
Woah, dearest, dearest, dearest
If I go to heaven
And you not there
I'm gonna write your name
On the heavenly stair
If you aren't there
By turn of day
Then I know baby
You know the way
Woah, dearest, dearest, dearest
Oh sweet baby, oh sweet baby, oh, oh, oh

The lord above
The divine creator
Created you
Fashioned you
Just for me to love

Picked you out
Chose you
From all the rest
Above all others

For he knew my great love for you
Dearest darling, take my hand, take my hand
My dearest love, please hold my hand
I once had a heart
My heart was once
So trill and true
So sincere and honest
But now it's gone
But it is no longer with me
From me to you
It now belongs to you
Take care of it
Please look after it
Like I have done
As I have taken care of it
For you have two hearts
Because you have two hearts
And I have none
While I am left with none
If I get to heaven
Should I reach heaven
Before you do
Before you arrive
I'll try to make a hole
I will attempt to create an opening
And pull you through
So you can come with me
Woah, dearest, dearest, dearest
Oh, my beloved, my beloved, my beloved
If I go to heaven
Should I depart for heaven
And you not there
And should you not be there
I'm gonna write your name
I will inscribe your name
On the heavenly stair
On the steps leading to heaven
If you aren't there
Should you not arrive
By turn of day
By the end of the day
Then I know baby
Then I understand, my darling
You know the way
You know the path
Oh sweet baby, oh sweet baby, oh, oh, oh
Oh, my sweet beloved, oh, oh, oh
