1) Bob Evans is the stage-name for the solo work of Kevin Mitchell (born 1 October 1976), an Australian pop musician from Fremantle, Australia, most famous for his role as vocalist/guitarist for the band Jebediah. Mitchell has released three albums under the name Bob Evans, the first being Suburban Kid, which was released in 2003 on Redline Records and was not widely available. Whilst all the tracks were written by Mitchell, one song, "The Hermit", was co-written by Luke Steele from The Sleepy Jackson. Katy Steele, from Little Birdy also performed backup vocals on the album.
The follow up, Suburban Songbook, was released in 2006. It began as a collection of demos that Kevin Mitchell recorded with no intention of widely releasing them. However, Capitol Records discovered them and put into motion the idea of recording an album. Suburban Songbook won the "Best Adult Contemporary Album" and Kevin Mitchell (Bob Evans) was nominated for "Best Male Artist" in the 2006 ARIA Awards. The album was also nominated for the 2006 Australian Music Prize and the 2006 J Award.
Mitchell supported Evermore on their "Welcome to the Real Life" tour of Australia and New Zealand under the Bob Evans pseudonym, and also performed on the 2007 Big Day Out tour.
At the 2007 Western Australian Music Industry (WAMi) Awards he was nominated for two awards, 'Most Popular Album' and 'Best Commercial Pop Act'.
“I think Bob Evans is more me than Kevin Mitchell from Jebediah is! In that way it’s like a reverse alter-ego. It just allows me to push things a bit. Bob’s been enough under the radar to give me, creatively, a lot more freedom than I might otherwise have.” Kevin Mitchell.
When later asked what 'reverse alter-ego' means to Kevin, he said “I've no idea, that's one of those quotes that I've been haunted by.”
2009 saw the release of Goodnight, Bull Creek!, named after his hometown in Western Australia. It was recorded in Nashville and features a bigger kind sound with more instrumentation and a driving rock feel.
2) Bob Evans is a self-taught British guitarist from Folkestone, Kent in England, who currently lives in Sussex. He plays various styles, which includes slide guitar, blues, rock and country.
3. Bob Evans was an American punk band from Maplewood, New Jersey, that spent most of its active career working out of a rented bungalow on the north shore of Boston in a town called North Reading, MA. The band began as a four piece with Dave Gloshinski (guitar and vocals), Chris Zusi (guitar and vocals), Andrew Kesin (bass) , and Brian O'Neill (drums). In 1990, Zusi left and the band continued as a three piece for the rest of its recording career. In '95 when O'Neill wasn't able to tour the summer, John Gerlach stepped in to join Gloshinski and Kesin for what became the last tour for the band.
4. Bob Evans is an award winning, Canadian finger-style guitarist. He combines an eclectic mix of contemporary finger-style guitar and traditional roots music with a warm vocal style, tilted sense of humour and down to earth stage presence to provide a refreshing performance experience for music lovers in general. Definitely not just for “guitar geeks”.
Best of all, he's from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, home of some great folk musciians.

Heâ??s got credibility and folks all know his name
Running round the clock heâ??s working for the family
Starting up a dynasty down in history
But all I know for sure is how love can grow
So donâ??t walk alone
Donâ??t walk alone
Starting up at eight checking that the factory
Is making lots of money heâ??s got so much to lose
Going through the books working up an inventory
Dotting Iâ??s and crossing Tâ??s for his well oiled machine
But all I know for sure is how love can grow
So donâ??t walk alone
Donâ??t walk alone
â??Cos all I know for sure is how love can grow
So donâ??t walk alone
Donâ??t walk alone
Never breaks the rules defying the economy
Heâ??s buying lots of property to mark his territory
Still he finds time to pop in to the P & see
Chair the whole committee and drink a cup of tea
But all I know for sure is how love can grow
So donâ??t walk alone
Donâ??t walk alone
'cause all I know for sure is how love can grow
So donâ??t walk alone
Donâ??t walk alone
But lying awake at night something just donâ??t feel right
Itâ??s like heâ??s let somebody down
He canâ??t figure it out heâ??s done everything right
Still heâ??s let somebody down
When he leaves in the morning please donâ??t give up on him
Heâ??ll try not to let you down
All I know for sure is our love can grow
So donâ??t walk alone
Donâ??t walk alone
All I know for sure is our love can grow
Donâ??t walk alone
Donâ??t walk alone
The song, Don't Walk Alone, by Bob Evans tells the story of a man, presumably the singer, who is acknowledged as the top-notch businessman in his community. This man is well known for his credibility and works around the clock, building and starting up a dynasty, leaving a benchmark in history. However, amidst all this fame and success, he struggles with something, and we see that in the chorus, where the singer advises his audience not to walk alone as he knows how love can grow. This implies that love is what the man is missing in his life, and despite his success, he still walks alone.
The verses of the song detail the singer's life, where he starts his day early in the morning, checking on his factories, and maintaining his well-oiled machine. He is a disciplined man who never breaks the rules despite the economy and monopolizes property to mark his territory. He is also a community-oriented man, as he leads the whole committee, drinks cups of tea, and ensures that everything is in place at the P & C. Even though he has all this prestige, the chorus reminds us that love is an essential aspect of life that he does not have, and it's what he needs the most.
The song has a beautiful narrative that tells the story of an individual who seems successful but is struggling with something that he cannot figure out. It's a reminder that success does not necessarily equate to happiness and that love is an important aspect of life. However, the chorus provides a bit of hope as the singer says, "Please don't give up on him, he'll try not to let you down." It implies that he may be willing to work on his struggles and possibly find love.
