Four years on, Rdtr shows a slightly more subdued Bogus Blimp returning to the grind. If there aren’t any heavy metal stabs to be found here, the atmosphere is as dark and unsettling as ever. Claustrophobic poetry is scattered all over this album and underpins the oppressive nature of these sonic constructions, especially on Automated Bathroom, and ever more so on Going Commercial, where Mona’s voice crawls under the skin and infects the mind by telling a banal story through relentless questioning. Yet, Rdtr introduces a slightly more playful approach to the general sonic structure within which the band evolves. Although this remains very discreet, hints can be perceived through lighter and more accessible melodies and arrangements, giving this album a more respectable face. But this is only for show as behind the scene, the band is busy twisting it all and playing games with the listener's mind.
Officially terminated as a collective late 2004. Some ex-members still continue as Det Är Jag Som Är Döden and Diktafon.

(Man:) I want to be king instead of the king.
(Machine:) That pretty much settles it for you, sir.
The lyrics of the song "King Inst" by Bogus Blimp present a sci-fi dystopian world where a computer welcomes and scans a man who expresses his desire to be the king instead of the current one. The machine seemingly understands the man's wish and even scans his brain, which suggests that the people in power may be resorting to increasingly invasive measures to maintain control. The line spoken by a speaker about not allowing natural passions to lead the nation to destruction further underscores how the society depicted is one where authoritarianism and manipulation are the norm.
The repetition of the man's desire to be king instead of the king throughout the song emphasizes his dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs and his yearning for power. However, the machine's response that it "pretty much settles it" for him suggests that the man may not actually have a choice and that is all an illusion. Overall, the song seems to be a commentary on the dangers of unchecked power and how it can breed paranoia, oppression, and inequality.

i can't believe they split. jester records doesn't look like it has much left in it, which is a real shame, some excellent releases on there.
