1) Boikot is a Spanish left-wing punk/rock group.
The group started in 1987 singing in bars and private locals. After doing a pair of adjustments in the formation of the group they recorded two albums with the label Barrabas. They were themselves doing acquaintances playing in Madrid, until in the year 1995 they break with the seal Barrabás and they decide to start their own production business BKT. They launched two disks more, Cría Cuervos and Tu Condena, and they played in diverse festivals of rock as Festimad or Metaliko Rock. After this they decided to do a trilogy called La Ruta del Ché, that would be composed of three disks that count the history of Che Guevara and engravings while they were on tour in some countries as in Cuba, Mexico, or Argentina.
2) Polish punk-hard core group, sometimes spelled BOiKOT (in capital letters with small "i") that released few cassettes in early '90. Titles: "Stany odmiennosci", "Przeminal juz raj na ziemi"

These lyrics come from Boikot's song "Tierra Quemada", which means "Burnt Earth" in English. Son las 6 de la mañana en Chile y no se por qué pero después de muchos años sin escucharlos me dio por volver a buscarlos en youtube, y es increíble la nostalgia que me produjo, volví a sentirme como cuando los escuché por primera vez, cuando tenía 15 años, hace ya una década. Me puse los audífonos y apenas empezó la intro de la guitarra recordé esos hermosos sonidos y letras que había olvidado y también volvieron como una avalancha todos los sentimientos que albergaba en mi adolescencia, cuando tenía mucha más energía y era mucho más optimista con la vida. Esto es lo mejor que tiene la música, te permite viajar en el tiempo y sentirte como no te habías sentido en años. Gracias Boikot por tan buena música y por ser parte de mi vida.

@@joshua_301 Gracias! han sido increíble estos días, yo creo que la mayoría cuando nos despertamos por un momento nos preguntamos si es verdad o es un sueño lo que está pasando. Hay una mezcla de sentimientos muy fuertes, por un lado pena y rabia por la represión y los caídos y por otro alegría y optimismo, muchos creímos que jamás veríamos este día y de repente en un día cualquiera sin aviso pafff todo explotó. La respuesta del Estado ha sido brutal, han disparado contra familias y hecho desaparecer gente, pero el pueblo igual ha resistido de manera heróica. Aun queda mucho por luchar pero se ve mucha convicción, la gente siente que es parte de una revolución.
