1) Boikot is a Spanish left-wing punk/rock group.
The group started in 1987 singing in bars and private locals. After doing a pair of adjustments in the formation of the group they recorded two albums with the label Barrabas. They were themselves doing acquaintances playing in Madrid, until in the year 1995 they break with the seal Barrabás and they decide to start their own production business BKT. They launched two disks more, Cría Cuervos and Tu Condena, and they played in diverse festivals of rock as Festimad or Metaliko Rock. After this they decided to do a trilogy called La Ruta del Ché, that would be composed of three disks that count the history of Che Guevara and engravings while they were on tour in some countries as in Cuba, Mexico, or Argentina.

The lyrics of Boikot's song "Korsakov" touch upon topics such as politics, imperialism, resistance, and democracy. The first stanza mentions the fall of the iron curtain and the Berlin Wall, and the idea of people coming together like brothers. However, the following stanza brings up an interesting question, "If Lenin were alive, what would he say?," and suggests that he may be disappointed with the current state of affairs, as even a cheeseburger is seen as a symbol of America's imperialistic presence in Russia, Poland, and Berlin. The lyrics then mention communist struggles of over a century, which have seemingly ended, as well as the capitalistic reign in Moscow and the need for the Cuban people to resist it.
The stanza that follows hints at the irony of having democracy, but still having to deal with the mafia and hunger and poverty. The final stanza is particularly powerful, as it speaks to the idea of not being defined by nationalities, borders, or laws, but embracing the land that one's people have worked on and lived on. The last two lines, "And now that we have democracy, what good is hunger and misery?" are particularly thought-provoking, suggesting that democracy alone does not solve all problems.
