1) Boikot is a Spanish left-wing punk/rock group.
The group started in 1987 singing in bars and private locals. After doing a pair of adjustments in the formation of the group they recorded two albums with the label Barrabas. They were themselves doing acquaintances playing in Madrid, until in the year 1995 they break with the seal Barrabás and they decide to start their own production business BKT. They launched two disks more, Cría Cuervos and Tu Condena, and they played in diverse festivals of rock as Festimad or Metaliko Rock. After this they decided to do a trilogy called La Ruta del Ché, that would be composed of three disks that count the history of Che Guevara and engravings while they were on tour in some countries as in Cuba, Mexico, or Argentina.
2) Polish punk-hard core group, sometimes spelled BOiKOT (in capital letters with small "i") that released few cassettes in early '90. Titles: "Stany odmiennosci", "Przeminal juz raj na ziemi"

Boikot Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Eres un pesao de tío
Todo el día a dios pidiendo
Con el mazo dando
Dame tekila por favor
Dame tekila quiero verte doble
Cómprate un desierto tío
Pero tiraremos cohetes pa celebrarlo
Dame tekila por favor
Dame tekila quiero verte doble
Boikot’s song Tekila describes someone who spends their day criticizing and complaining, unable to enjoy life's simple pleasures. The lyrics highlight the tediousness of being around someone who is always demanding and negative, with the line “Eres un pesao de tío” emphasizing just how much of a pain they are. The person in question spends their days asking God for things, but seems to only act aggressively towards others, “Con el mazo dando." Through this song, Boikot uses humor to criticize negative people who only bring others down.
The chorus of the song is focused around the desire for “tekila,” implying a desire to be drunk and forget about negative things for a while. It’s clear that the singer wants to escape from the person being described in the verses, “Dame tekila quiero verte doble” (give me tequila, I want to see you double). In the second verse, the singer encourages the person to “Cómprate un desierto” (buy a desert), implying that they should isolate themselves if they’re going to continue being so negative. The final line of the chorus, “tiraremos cohetes pa celebrarlo” (we’ll set off fireworks to celebrate it), suggests that the singer won’t miss the person, and their absence will be seen as a positive thing.
