I’m loving how the two main characters look like people and not chiseled gods.

I agree it's cool to see normal looking people haha usually they just put glasses and freckles on a 10/10

@Pineal Dreams  hu even the actors in indy films are super attractive

What's extraordinary is how, JUST LIKE IN REAL LIFE, the more we get to know them, the more .... "beautiful" they both become to me ... I have to admit, I actually think I was initially put off by the fact that the actors were unknowns .... and how petty that reasoning really was. It's PTA, and I should've known better LOL. PTA is BIG HEART + keen intellect + cinematic chops, to be basically blunt about it. A rather rare combination it seems. Andrew Dominik is another modern day filmmaker (who writes his own films) and has similar sensibilities.

anyway ....

LICORICE PIZZA is a stone cold WINNA !

I went into this movie with low expectation...Alana's character was so insanely real and refreshing she wins you over in the first 5 minutes...this movie was totally original and unexpected, I'm not sure what it was about but I loved it and the ending is 100% authentic

Jenna

How is this movie original lol

Right after seeing it, I definitely felt I had seen something very different. At first I thought it was maybe too long, but it continues to grow on me the more I think about it. It was definitely a combination of romance and a documentation of a time in history. Very much a nostalgia piece
