This album is the product of two friends, a guitar and lots of morning coffee. "We came together at what could possibly be the most creative time of our lives. We had both gone through serious, "break up's" if you want to put it that way, and we met as Yin and Yang writers looking for an outlet." Kelley said.
Kelley grew up singing in local venues in Phoenix Arizona, where she used to introduce herself at ten years old, as "Curb recording artist Kelley Shepard!" She say's, "I wanted to BE Leann Rimes, and I knew she was a Curb artist. Look at how crazy life is, I am a walking testament that dreams come true!" Kelley got her first break after sending a tape into the Ellen Degeneres show, where she was noticed by singer, Brian MckNight who began developing her early song writing career.
Kristy is from a small town in Idaho, and started out touring the Northwest and Canada in a group called the Fiddler's Hatchery at four years old. She say's she knew she wanted to be a country singer after watching Garth Brooks play New York on TV. "I saw him coming in on a helicopter, and thought…I could TOTALLY do that!" "I am a ski racer, a horse rider, and a self diagnosed adrenaline junkie. I knew that anything I got myself into had to be very real, and very fun. Bomshel represents that."
Bomshel is: The joy that comes with letting down your guard and being yourself, no matter how wild, silly or serious you may feel at any given moment.

Are lyin on the side of 202
Well I don't want to see them anymore
And that locket that you gave to me
Is hangin of a Joshua tree
It took up too much space here on the floor
I'm leavin all the things you did
Looking back I wont have much to miss
Like all those empty promises
And all those lies that you left me
That left this bitter taste on my lips
I'm leavin it all, back in Arizona
Watching you letters taking flight
Across the painted desert sky
I know you didn't mean them anyway
And that ring I wore on my left hand
Is somewhere buried in the sand
It will be somebody's treasure there some day
I'm leavin all the things you did
The I love yous and never said
Looking back I wont have much to miss
Like all those empty promises
And all those lies that you left me
That left this bitter taste here on my lips
I'm leavin it all, back in Arizona
I'm heading east and drivin faster
On my way to greener pastures
I'm leavin all the things you did
The I love yous and never said
Looking back I wont have much to miss
Like all those empty promises
And all those lies that you left me
That left this bitter taste here on my lips
I'm leavin it all, back in Arizona
I'm heading east and drivin faster
On my way to greener pastures
The lyrics to Bomshel's "Arizona" are about the end of a relationship and moving on from the pain and hurt it caused. The first verse describes the physical remnants of the relationship, such as pictures and a locket, that are no longer wanted or needed. The second verse highlights the emotional baggage that is being left behind, including empty promises and lies.
The chorus serves as a declaration of moving on, specifically "back in Arizona" where the relationship may have begun. The repetition of "I'm leaving it all" emphasizes the finality of the decision to move on. The final line of the chorus, "on my way to greener pastures," suggests that the singer is looking forward to a brighter future without the weight of the past holding her back.
The bridge provides a beautiful line, "Watching you letters taking flight/ Across the painted desert sky," that paints a vivid picture of letting go of the past, physically and emotionally. The final repetition of the chorus feels triumphant with the added line "I'm heading east and driving faster" that indicates the singer is moving forward and not looking back.

Those pictures that I saved of you

The pictures I cherished of you for so long have lost their meaning and are now discarded but it is not enough, I am also letting go of the locket that you gave because the memories brought by it only weigh me down and I need to move on.
I'm leavin all the things you did
The I love yous and never said
Looking back I wont have much to miss
Like all those empty promises
And all those lies that you left me
That left this bitter taste on my lips
I'm leavin it all, back in Arizona
I am leaving behind all the things you did to me, both the love you never expressed and the broken promises that only left me feeling bitter. Looking back, I won't miss any of it because leaving it all behind is a way to heal.
Watching you letters taking flight
Across the painted desert sky
I know you didn't mean them anyway
And that ring I wore on my left hand
Is somewhere buried in the sand
It will be somebody's treasure there some day
Watching the letters you sent me fly away I know they meant nothing, and the ring I wore because of you is now buried in the sand serving no purpose but to become someone else's treasure someday, meanwhile, I move forward.
I'm heading east and drivin faster
On my way to greener pastures
I am moving on with determination towards a brighter future, letting go of what is behind to find something better ahead.
