This album is the product of two friends, a guitar and lots of morning coffee. "We came together at what could possibly be the most creative time of our lives. We had both gone through serious, "break up's" if you want to put it that way, and we met as Yin and Yang writers looking for an outlet." Kelley said.
Kelley grew up singing in local venues in Phoenix Arizona, where she used to introduce herself at ten years old, as "Curb recording artist Kelley Shepard!" She say's, "I wanted to BE Leann Rimes, and I knew she was a Curb artist. Look at how crazy life is, I am a walking testament that dreams come true!" Kelley got her first break after sending a tape into the Ellen Degeneres show, where she was noticed by singer, Brian MckNight who began developing her early song writing career.
Kristy is from a small town in Idaho, and started out touring the Northwest and Canada in a group called the Fiddler's Hatchery at four years old. She say's she knew she wanted to be a country singer after watching Garth Brooks play New York on TV. "I saw him coming in on a helicopter, and thought…I could TOTALLY do that!" "I am a ski racer, a horse rider, and a self diagnosed adrenaline junkie. I knew that anything I got myself into had to be very real, and very fun. Bomshel represents that."
Bomshel is: The joy that comes with letting down your guard and being yourself, no matter how wild, silly or serious you may feel at any given moment.
Just fine

But trust me baby, it's all crystal clear
You doing anything and everything to dance around the hurt
Trying hard, muster up a tear
But save yourself the trouble, boy
Don't go wasting your time like you're wasting mine
I don't need your reasons why
I'll be just fine
Oh, I'll be just fine
You need some time, you need some space, and I deserve much more
You say you've changed, we're in a different place
Yeah, it's not me and blah, blah, blah, I've heard it all before
So before you go and throw your breath away
Save yourself the trouble, boy
Don't go wasting your time like you're wasting mine
I don't need your reasons why
Don't you worry your pretty little head about me
I'll be just fine
This time, when you walk out the door, it won't be like it was before
When you wake up and wanna change your mind
So, save yourself the trouble, boy
Don't go wasting your time like you're wasting mine
I don't need your reasons why
Don't you worry your pretty little head about me, no
Don't you worry your pretty little head about me
I'll be just fine
Oh, I'll be just fine
The song "Just Fine" by Bomshel is about a woman who is being hurt by her partner, but instead of dwelling on the pain, she chooses to move on and be "just fine." The song talks about how her partner is trying to avoid the situation and not talk about their problems, but the woman knows that he is not going to change his ways. She tells him that she doesn't need his reasons why he is leaving her, and that she doesn't need him to worry about her because she will be just fine.
The song is written in a very empowering way and it shows that the woman is strong enough to move on and not let the relationship bring her down. She is confident that she will be alright on her own, and she doesn't need anyone to validate her or make her feel better.
The lyrics are well-written, and Bomshel's vocals are strong and confident, which adds to the empowering message of the song. Overall, "Just Fine" is a great anthem for anyone who has ever been hurt by a partner and learned how to move on and be just fine.
