Growing up, Boosie was hardened by the many difficult experiences he was put through. His neighborhood, notorious for drugs and violence, was a place feared by the general population. To outsiders, it was a jungle, to residents, it was life. Boosie got very involved in basketball to stay off the streets, and was actually expected to move on to college level basketball.
At 14 years old, Boosie moved in to live with his grandmother after his father was murdered over drugs. Growing up with no father figure and without a strong guiding hand, Boosie turned to drugs and crime. After being expelled from school, Boosie picked up freestyling and began to get serious about his music. Living in the 225, Boosie had no contacts, no real means of exposure. Lil Boosie teamed up with Baton Rouge rapper C-Loc in the late 1990s and made his debut on C-Loc's 5th album, "It's a Gamble", which also featured Three Six Mafia, South Park Mexican, and the rest of the Concentration Camp. This album was a saving grace for C-Loc, as he was slowly losing popularity. Releasing this album put him back in the spotlight, as he had a new young tallented rapper at his side. Baton Rouge couldn't get enough. Shortly afterwards, Boosie released his debut CD, "Youngest of the Camp", which sold over 10,000 units and featured fellow up and coming Baton Rouge rapper Max Minelli, which was exactly what boosie needed to jump start his career. The album spread like wildfire, every hood in Baton Rouge had flyers up for it, everybody was playing it.
After the incarceration, Boosie once again turned back to the streets. Ultimately, his behavior led to him also being incarcerated. At this point, Boosie felt as though he was a failure. However, fate lent Boosie a hand, and Boosie had an opportunity to join an up and coming record label called Trill Entertainment aka Trill Ent which was backed by Pimp-C of UGK. Trill signed Boosie and assisted him in bring his legal issues to an end. Soon after, Boosie and Trill independently released the CD "For my Thugs" under TrillEnt. This release went on to sell over 15,000 copies. Later in the summer of 2003, Boosie co-starred with one of his label-mates, Webbie, on the album "Ghetto Stories" which also went on to sell well over 15,000 copies.
Again paired up with Webbie, Lil Boosie's 2004 release, "Gangsta Musik" is what really gained him popularity. This CD featured the ever popular songs "Swerve" (which later made an appearance in the movie "Hustle and Flow"), "Give Me That", and "Bad Bitch". This was Boosie's first really popular album, actually penetrating the borders of Louisiana and reaching far beyond.
Boosie's talent was now undeniable, and he caught the eye of some Universal Records representatives. In late January of 2005, Boosie signed a deal with Universal, and released the CD "Boosie Bad Azz". This album, backed and promoted by Universal Records, was his strongest yet. Boosie continues to gain popularity at an astonishing rate, and is no stranger to trouble with the law. Already incarcerated for probation violation on drug and gun charges, the Trill Entertainment rapper and two associates (one of them only 17 years old) were indicted on first-degree murder charges by a grand jury on Thursday, June 17, 2010. The men are accused of being involved in the shooting of 35-year-old Terry Boyd in his own house in October. District attorney Hiler Moore stated that the killing seemed to be "over turf" and that if Lil Boosie is convicted the death penalty is not out of the question. The same day, Hatch was also indicted on multiple drug and conspiracy charges for smuggling large amounts of codeine, ecstasy and marijuana into prison with intent to distribute. His girlfriend, a prison guard and a fellow inmate were also charged as co-conspirators. In addition to these charges, prosecutors believe the 27-year-old rapper may have been involved in at least five other slayings.

Somebody got to hate ya
And it don't surprise me at all 'cause you know I'mMa street dude, you know
But I'm doing big things, going big places
That's just what I do
Wake up everyday and hustle my nigga that's all I know
Ain't surprised by you hating my nigga that's all you know
'Cause putting money over niggas and bitches that's all I know
That's all I know
Don't care what you say about me (Nah)
Don't care how you feel about me (Nah)
Drag my name through the mud
Guess what? I'm bout to kill these streets
Going places you will never see
Someone you will never be
Mama say get some rest
I might miss a check so I never sleep
Loyalty, loyalty, loyalty
That's all I know
Trouble free you don't want war with me
'Cause war is all I know
Went from the block to hip hop
Bottom to the tip top
I can't go broke I'm too hot
You hating on me 'cause you not
They hated Jesus so you know they gon hate me cause of my power
Its my time, my grind, my gift, my hour
This was God's plan, grind hard
Everyday I wake up she wanted me to miss my flight
I got to go to get my cake up
So I
Wake up everyday and hustle my nigga that's all I know
Ain't surprised by you hating my nigga that's all you know
And I'm going lots of places but I ain't going broke
'Cause putting money over niggas and bitches that's all I know
Hey, hey
That's all I know
Hey, my nigga that's all I know
And I'm going lots of places but I ain't going broke
'Cause putting money over niggas and bitches that's all I know
This all I know
I hustle hard
I shine bright
Let all these shoot shooting people stay on their guide-light
Money over niggas and I hate the dick riding type
Hating people textin' to get a spot in the limelight
Pop them bottles I'ma grind this show
Come back off tour and grind some more
From my heart it ain't none to cut that bitch off
That ain't my ho
Hustle so I don't struggle nigga that's all I know
You in everybody business you bitches that's why you broke
While y'all criticizin' my name, I'm on a camel in Dubai
If they say 'sky's the limit,' guess what, then I'm the sky
Real music, I ain't gotta lie, tears of joy run down my eye
You hatin' a nigga who come from nothin', my nigga I ain't surprised, I
Wake up everyday and hustle my nigga that's all I know
Ain't surprised by you hating my nigga that's all you know
And I'm going lots of places but I ain't going broke
'Cause putting money over niggas and bitches that's all I know
Hey, hey
That's all I know
Hey, my nigga that's all I know
And I'm going lots of places but I ain't going broke
'Cause putting money over niggas and bitches that's all I know
That money bag (That's all I know)
Show up show out and show my ass (That's all I know)
People spreading lies on me
Old lyin' ass hoes
Misery loves company, so hatin' that's all you know
And they say, they say
That I wasn't coming home
And they say, they say
That I wasn't coming home
I say, I say
So many dummies wrong
Now the millions to the ceiling, I ain't trippin'
Wake up everyday and hustle my nigga that's all I know
Ain't surprised by you hating my nigga that's all you know
And I'm going lots of places but I ain't going broke
'Cause putting money over niggas and bitches that's all I know
Hey, hey
That's all I know
Hey, my nigga that's all I know
And I'm going lots of places but I ain't going broke
'Cause putting money over niggas and bitches that's all I know
The lyrics to Boosie Badazz's song All I Know reveal his resilience in the face of hate and criticism. The opening line suggests that loving someone of Boosie's caliber attracts hate, and he is not surprised by it because he is a streetwise person. Boosie then emphasizes his determination to succeed, going big places and doing big things regardless of the negativity around him. The central theme of the song is Boosie's hustling spirit and his preference for money over relationships, which he emphasizes in the chorus.
The verse highlights Boosie's determination to work hard every day and his indifference to hateful comments directed at him. He insists that he's better off putting money over people since that's all he knows. He adds that he is not afraid of war because that's all he knows. The rapper talks about his struggles, starting from the bottom of the neighborhood to the top of hip hop, adding that he can't go broke because he's too hot.
The song's climax comes in the bridge, with Boosie describing his unwavering hustling spirit and his conviction that he'll soar to great heights no matter the opposition. He encourages listeners to ignore negativity and focus on their grind, insisting that it's all they know.

I hustle hard and shine bright, and let those who talk behind my back stay in their lane. I prioritize money over people and don't like those who just kiss up to those in power. I'll grind on tour and off tour, and I don't hesitate to cut off anyone who's not loyal to me. I don't want to struggle, so I keep hustling to make money. People who gossip are usually broke, and that's why they need to mind their own business. While people criticize me, I'm enjoying luxurious experiences like riding on camels in Dubai. I'm limitless and always aiming high, and my music is real and honest - something that brings me joy. I'm not surprised that people hate on me because I came from nothing, but I won't let that stop me from grinding and shining.

All I know is making money and being showy. People spread lies about me, but that's just because they're unhappy with their own lives. Some people claimed I wouldn't come back home, but they were proven wrong. I have millions of dollars now, so I don't care about the haters.
