Os tais três acordes do bom rock’n’roll não são fáceis de se encontrar. O riff preciso e a pegada perfeita são talentos pra quem sabe – não pra quem estuda. Sem cara de moço nem roupinha de brechó, os rapazes do quarteto paulistano, na estrada desde janeiro de 2003, conhecem a fórmula do rock de caráter, no limite máximo dos amplificadores.
“Rock nervoso que tira faíscas dos alto-falantes”, resumiu o sábio Carlos Eduardo Miranda. “É pura energia”, vaticinou mestre Kid Vinil. Mas ninguém precisa ser expert para se deixar levar na corrente de energia 220W da banda. Suas performances ao vivo – a formação atual conta com o vocalista e baixista Zeh (ex-Holly Tree), o guitarrista Fil Jota, e o baterista Denis mendes (Marcelo Nova) – fizeram história na cena underground de São Paulo. Depois, incendiaram os principais festivais independentes do país, como o Goiânia Noise, o Indie Rock , Punktoberfest, São Paulo Independente ,Street Rock,Calango.
Vocais em inglês e guitarras setentistas pontuavam as 11 faixas do CD de estréia, Elvis. Em O Simples É Complexo, de 2005, a mesma vitalidade crua reaparece em 12 canções de sonoridade mais elaborada, agora em Português. Nela, ecos das boas influências do punk e do glam rock de Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, David Bowie, Kinks, The Who e Black Sabbath. Não por acaso, o CD concorre na categoria “Melhor Álbum de Rock” no prêmio da revista Dynamite. E o clipe da faixa “Tudo” já é presença constante na programação da MTV. Simples assim.
