1. Borealis is a project alias of Canadian producer Jesse Somfay. The glowing star-core within Borealis radiates solely to spread subtle quantum coherence with those sharing the vibrational experience at any point in nonlocal reality whether within time or without.
2. Borealis is a 5 piece melodic/power metal band from Orangeville, Ontario. Formed in October 2005 with minor member changes in the band lineup over the years their 2015 release see's them continue to push their boundaries.

The lyrics to Borealis's song "Where We Started" seem to be about the aftermath of a failed relationship. The song begins with the singer feeling broken and destroyed by the end of the relationship: "Attack this broken soul / Take and leave me in / You think that I forgot you / Destroying part of me / You don't even know / Your scent is all I breathe." The person who left the singer promised not to return, and the singer expresses a wish for that person to simply leave them alone: "In times of clarity, sky breaks through the clouds / And you will leave me be."
Despite this wish for distance, the singer seems to feel trapped in memories of the past relationship: "Flash of truth, back where we started / Your peace, my war / It's warm inside this lie, the world escapes me / Just me and you again."
