Siempre En Domingo
Bossa Combo Lyrics

La Combo Tortuga!

Esta lloviendo, quieres dar un paseo
Hasta casa, piensas tu que me cuesta
Mucho esfuerzo, ir del brazo contigo
Caminar junto a ti.

Esperaba, el momento de hablarte
y explicarte, que eres muy importante
ciertamente, agradezco que existas y
te amo, te amo, te amo, te amo, te amo.

dan origen a mi mundo.
Si ahora todo se me derrumbase ni cuenta me daría;

Y tus ojos me sonríen cansados
luminosos, mientras busco tus labios
te amo, te amo, te amo, te amo, te amo.

dan origen a mi mundo

regalando sensaciones

A quien he amado,

Yo que he nacido,
que es lo que he hecho antes de ti, sin tu amor.

Overall Meaning

The song "Siempre En Domingo" by Bossa Combo is a beautiful love song that captures the joy and contentment of being with someone you deeply care about on a rainy day. The song starts with the singer talking about going out for a walk in the rain with his lover and how it means a lot to him to walk arm in arm with the person he loves. He then goes on to express how important his lover is to him and how much he appreciates and loves them. The singer talks about how nothing else matters as long as he has his lover by his side, and how the love they share is the most important thing in his life. He then goes on to talk about how he is willing to take his lover to the point of their deepest desire, and how the shadows of silence and the roots of their world give birth to his world. He then talks about the sweetness of his dream, which has returned to his life, and how his lover's smiling eyes make him feel alive.

The song then goes on to talk about how the singer loves his lover even when they make him feel confused, when they beg, when they suffer and when they surrender. He goes on to mention how the rain that falls on the windows is a gift that brings sensations, further emphasizing how he finds beauty in the little things when he is with his lover.

Overall, "Siempre En Domingo" is a beautiful and heartfelt song about love, companionship, and the joy of being with the person you love on a rainy day.

Wow, this used to get some heavy play in Panama in the 80's. Thx for posting!

@E4Mizik without a doubt in my mind, He is one of the best if not the best this side of Gerard Dupervil and certainly the best prepared vocalist in the business....

@E4Mizik Well, T-Vice and MVP are played there, but it's mostly the bands from the 70's & 80's - Tabou, D.P., Scorpio etc. Also Les Aiglons, Georges Plonquitte etc (They're not Haitian, but their music is incredible). Can't speak for anyone else, but in my opinion, that whole 80's & 70's sound of kompas is the absolute best. I, personally, am not a fan of the current music (unless it has that retro sound) Like Tabou Combo did a few yrs back with Tu As Vole.

T-Vice gets played a lot. But it's mostly the retro kompa that's played to this day there. 70's and 80's kompa.
