Hey Mike, love your work as always, quick question though I was wondering why you choose a single port head over twin port? Cheers from Australia

2 things the look and fitment. The 1500 tin fits better in the engine compartment on that truck. Plus I wanted it to look original. The dual port tin is a little wider and the fan shroud also does not fit very well. The orignal air cleaner may not fit without that original shroud. That is why No dog house....and no dual port. On any other application I would go dual port any day. Same torque really and better top end.

So the larger engine is working great on this👍 I blew up mine in the 70's and when I wanted to sell it had a local foreign place put another engine in. I sold it and a month later he blew it up and wanted his money back. Told him no way but he could go to the shop and have them replace it. Looking back now I bet they put a bug engine in and not a bus

yea she pulls 100km hr all day long. 90 on some hills. but steep stuff 3rd gear at 40 to 45 max. at 45 it is screaming. Hills 385 to 390 head temp. Yikes But off road racers top out at 450....on hills.

vacuum advance distributor helps bring on power ,

gives you more retard at low rpms. total advance is the same. I have no issues with low rpm torque. it is a monster at low RPM. will do some more driving videos soon.

Yea it is just all the videos of the build in 1 video. Makes it easier for guys to use it as a reference when it is all in 1 video. The last 3 builds I did this and the videos went really big.....I am not sure why. I also tune them up a little, take some of the fat off.
