We From The Bronx
Boy/Girl Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

We can do anything
Just you and me baby baby baby babe
Wait and see.

Hold on, sit tight.
Are you ready for a crazy ride?
Your on your own, it ain't right.
Somethings gotta give tonight.

[Bridge:]
So if you want to run, run and disappear.
You and I can bust are ways right out of here.

[Chorus:]
Together we can.
Shoot the moon, stop the rain even ride a hurricane,
If we wanna.
Walk into space, save the human race, do you think we oughta? [x2]

If we take our time, we can have it all.
I don't think we're gonna make it on our own.

Together we can.
Even ride a hurricane, if we wanna.
Walk into space save the human race.

Do you think we oughta?
Together we can!

Boy/Girl play a creeped out brand of rock with frenetic highs, unsettling lows, and strange sexual undertones blending amplified feedback and Eric Stiner's surreal vocals with absolutely anything drummer Lisa Cusack can reach from her drum kit. Dreamlike and raw it is a rollercoaster of screams, sighs, mumbles and spoken word. Eric's guitar alternates between buzzing melodies and choppy ambient noise while Lisa keeps the ship afloat with eclectic beats and unusual rythm instruments.

This bio is describing a different band. Boy/Girl is a 3 piece from Oxnard California. Isaac Chavez on vocals/guitar Maxine lemuz on bass/vocals and Eddie madec on drums

@@YattaMoyo My dad is a former gangster and from what I could surmise form all his stories related to gang shit is.... The gang ain't SHIT.

Let me reiterate.... Gangs ain't SHIT.

Legitimately, nothing good comes from being in a gang. You might have short term success. But it's NOT good in the long-run. Very few people actually make it doing gang shit.

How many rappers have died because of gang shit when they didn't have to involve themselves in it?

Again.... Gangs, ain't shit.

For People Who Don’t Know, The First Guy is known as Nas Ebk who was robbed before his lock up. They stole a lot of items from him and to this day everyone still comes at him for that. The Second Guy is known as Dthang Gz who was recently sentenced to 100+ years facing multiple charges. The other RPT / YGz members continuously saying “free da guys” however, this does NOT include Dthang which shows how much his gang forgot about him. (Fun Fact: Dthang Gz and Sha EK started Bronx Drill together) For the third guy, He goes by Blockwork who was an OY Gang member back when the OYOGz were all allied. Blockwork grew up with other OYz such as Sugarhill Keem, Edot Baby, etc. Sugarhill Keem claimed Blockwork snitched allegedly due to a gun being found in a car with Sugarhill Keem and Blockwork. Since Sugarhill Keem was more defensive, they took his side instead of Blockwork’s side which lead to a diss track towards Blockwork which concluded: (OY) Sugarhill Keem, (OY) Edot Baby, (OGz) Sha EK which would lead to a diss towards Blockwork although they were all close with him. A few Other OY Members such would make a diss track on him called “41K” after he switched sides to another gang called 41. 41 was a gang recommended by Blockwork’s Manager due to the backlash Blockwork was getting so, He Joined 41. He even made a song with Dee Billz (41) called “OGzK” in response to Sha EK. One of the OY Members was named Notti Osama who was a young 14 year old that was taken under Blockwork’s Wing. He was one of the Members in the song called “41K”. All Of Blockwork’s Close Friends were dissing him making him lonely. He decided to drop a song called “Switch Sides” to clear out the drama which basically also meant he wasn’t ok with the problems with his own friends. After all of that drama happened, Notti Osama was stabbed to death as OY members made a song called “Notti Gang” in a tribute towards Notti Osama. Blockwork made a “Notti Gang” song although Notti dissed Blockwork. Since Blockwork left 41, 41 made a song called “Notti Bop” which went #1 trending in the world when first released. The OYOGz would begin to split apart. Sha EK and a few other OGz members did the Notti Bop in response to allegedly OY members “smoking their deads”. Soon Later, The First Drill Rapper to put OY on the map, Edot Baby allegedly committed suicide leading Blockwork to make more tributes although Edot dissed Blockwork as well. Sugarhill Keem was locked up. Blockwork was on live showing proof he didn’t snitch which lead to a video of Sugarhill Keem talking to police as Blockwork was silent. In conclusion, OY dropped Blockwork due to false allegations.
