I'm Learning
Boyzone Lyrics

And do you still think of me
When I'm gone
I think of you and I just wonder
Where you are
And what thoughts are racing through your mind
Who are you holding now
Someday I know I will be
I've been told there'll be another
(or so they say)
But I guess never like the other
So I'll shed my tears
And I'll face my fears
I've been told there'll be another
It's so simple to say I love you
But sometimes it's not enough
So I'll find my sunrise
At the end of these few words
Who are you holding now
oh I hope that you're happy now and
Someday I know I will be
I've been told there'll be another
(or so they say)
But I guess never like the other
So I'll shed my tears
And I'll face my fears
I've been told there'll be another
I've been told there'll be another
The song "I'm Learning" by Boyzone tells the story of two people who have gone their separate ways, but the singer still has lingering thoughts and feelings for their past lover. The lyrics express the singer's feelings of curiosity and wonder about their ex's new life and whether they still think about them. The chorus echoes the sentiment of moving on and finding happiness but acknowledges the difficulty in doing so. The final line of the song, "I've been told there'll be another," suggests that the singer is hopeful about the possibility of finding love again but is also aware that it may not compare to what they had before.
The lyrics are poignant and relatable, touching on the themes of love, loss, and moving on. The chorus is particularly powerful, with the repetition of "I've been told there'll be another" emphasizing the hope and uncertainty that comes with starting over. The use of imagery, such as "finding my sunrise" adds a sense of optimism to the song, and the overall tone is reflective and introspective.
Overall, "I'm Learning" is a beautiful and emotional ballad that captures the complexities of love and heartbreak. It encourages listeners to embrace their emotions and face their fears as they move forward in life.
