Their first album, Native Speaker (2011), has received mostly praise from critics, remarkable for its innovative melodies and Standell-Preston's "dynamic" vocals.
Keyboardist Katie Lee left the group during the recording of their 2013 album, Flourish // Perish. Raphaelle Standell-Preston is also the vocal half of Blue Hawaii.
The 30th of April 2015 they released 'Deep In The Iris', their third album.

Incredible, flourishing sonics, almost as if IVO visited their recording studio and unloaded the apex of mid 80's 4 A.D. catalog.
Can't deny the Liz Frasier comparisons, as well as Dif Juz sub currents in arrangement, not to mention the visuals reminding me of every album cover 4AD put out during their heyday. BUT I digress, this music is refreshing, haunting, and full of wonder.

Maybe you have to drum to notice this, but Braids drummer is pretty amazing. So tasteful, he plays pretty complex stuff but it never sounds like he’s “over playing”.
