Moments of Truth
Brainwash Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I see myself as a slave of my own -
I'm in a position to do more for my cause!
But something keeps me from doing my task -
Too much to lose on my chosen way!
I wait I thought and lose sight of my goal -
It's beastly cold and a hard lesson to learn!

But this is the moment of truth -
I'm on the edge of despair!
Now I see the sign and cross the bridge to my home!
I understand the backgrounds and know that I have to do!

Freedom is the call -
Now I'm striking back!
Freedom is the call -
The end of the suppression!
Freedom is the call -
Revenge for my fallen brothers!

Freedom!

Overall Meaning

The song "Moments of Truth" by Brainwash depicts the struggles of an individual who is conflicted between his duty towards his cause and his personal limitations. The opening line "I see myself as a slave of my own" is a metaphorical representation of the individual's feeling of being restricted in his own choices. He is aware of his potential to contribute more to his cause, but something holds him back.

The individual is struggling to maintain balance in his life between his cause and personal commitments. He acknowledges that he has a lot to lose if he chooses his cause, yet he feels that it's the right thing to do. The line "It's beastly cold and a hard lesson to learn!" portrays his understanding that the path he chose is not an easy one, but he is willing to endure the hardships.

However, in the end, he makes a decision to stand up for his beliefs and fight against the suppression. The line "Freedom is the call - The end of the suppression! Revenge for my fallen brothers!" is an assertion of his willingness to strike back and avenge the injustice caused to his fellow comrades. In a way, the song is a call for action to those who are facing similar struggles to rise above their limitations and take a stand for their beliefs.

The first, and most important, lesson to learn is non-violence.
Meaning that you will not hurt a living being, human or not..
Meaning that in time, you should become a vegetarian.

The next prosject is to focus on your self, and not "bad government".
Make yourself into the human being you want to be around yourself. Honest, sweet, loving, trustworthy, authentic, etc. No..?^^

And look up the project called Kailasa, with Nithyananda. He is re-creating the universal enlightened society. It is the modern day arch of Noah.

I dont expect you to do this. As it might appear weird at first. Truth always is.
And i dont even care if you do nor dont.
But you should care.. If you care about you.
The alternative is not a good alternative, in the end.

I was held in false imprisonment, threatened daily, had everything taken from me. It changed me forever. It was the fact that the person who did this to me and found delight in doing so, that (I believe) wrecked my nervous system and has held me in "freeze" for decades. I wish I could "get over it". Sick people are in charge.

The truth serum should be giving to certain people, who work in government and policing, to screen out those demons!
