@rk41gator
This is like the best of Zappa, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Weather Report and Chick Corea all rolled into a cohesive and musical unit. Superb.

When I bought this album in '77 I remember in the credits it read "Recorded at Brighton studios where the curtains are drawn but the rest of the furniture is real"

I heard a lot of disrespect for Phil Collins when I was a kid in the 80's. What a bunch of bullshit. I later learned about his great contributions to Brian Eno albums. I just discovered Brand X yesterday and I'm blown away. Much respect for Phil.
@LegendLength
It's partly Phil's fault because he wanted that pop image. I was absolutely shocked when i found out it was him drumming in this song. One of those things you'd just never believe.
@davidstopford3165
Best track on the album imo
Love the drums and percussion.
@Bitterblogger
And the vocalizations!
@flowerlandofjohn
The part in Disco Suicide with the choir and the bells is so beautiful and powerful. I just had to put some double time drums on it: enjoy! ✌🏻🤩
