How much you mean to me?
I know sometimes you wonder why
Are you the one that I need?
As sure as I breathe
You are the one for me (you are the one for me)
And I want you to know that, oh yeah
Fill my tears with joy
And now and forever, I'm yours
With everything you do
Makes my dreams come true
With all of my heart, I'm yours
I think about you all the time
You're always on my mind
The thought of you brings happiness
Inside, I know that I am yours
But there's so much more to say
There's something that I, I've got to tell you
So you know that I care, baby-yeah, yeah
You fill my heart with love
Fill my tears with joy
And now and forever, I'm yours
With everything you do
Makes my dreams come true
With all of my heart, I'm yours
When I think about you, baby
A joy comes over me, yeah
And when I close my eyes, boy
Yeah, your face is all I see
Your eyes tell me that I'm yours
And there's something that I, I've got to tell you, yeah
So you know that I care
You fill my heart with love
My tears with joy (no-ooh, yeah)
And now and forever, I'm yours (and now and forever, I'm yours, yeah-yeah)
With everything you do (with everything you do)
Makes my dreams come true (makes my dreams come true)
With all of my heart, I'm yours
You fill my heart with love (you fill my heart with love)
Fill my tears with joy (tears with joy)
And now and forever, I'm yours (and now and forever, I'm yours, yeah)
With everything you do (with everything you do)
Makes my dreams come true (oh-oh)
With all of my heart, I'm yours (oh yeah)
The lyrics in Brandy's song "I'm Yours" express the singer's deep feelings for someone they love. The song begins with the singer's internal conflict about how to express how much the person means to them. The singer wants the person to know that they are the one for them and that they fill their heart with love and tears with joy. The chorus repeats this sentiment, saying that the person makes their dreams come true and they are fully committed to them.
The second verse expresses how the person is always on the singer's mind and brings them happiness. They are aware that there is still more to say, and they express the need to tell the person that they care. The final verse expresses the intense emotions the singer feels when they think about the person, and when they close their eyes, their face is all they see. The singer wants the person to know that they are theirs, and once again, they express the need to tell them how much they care.
