The sexy/quirky/mysterious Brazilian Girls were three men -- Didi Gutman (from Argentina) on keyboards and computers, Jesse Murphy on bass, and Aaron Johnston on drums -- and one woman, Sabina Sciubba, the vocalist. Sciubba often enjoys wearing lacy eye masks on-stage and sings in no fewer than five different languages. She was born in Rome but grew up in Nice and Munich before settling in Brooklyn, NY. She first came to record buyers' attention when she recorded two jazz albums -- You Don't Know What Love Is with pianist Chris Anderson and Meet Me in London with guitarist Antonio Forcione -- for the English audiophile label Naim. She described her meeting with the men of Brazilian Girls as "love at first sight and it moved as fast as the Autobahn." Falling into the new, playful downtown scene that was revolving around the Nublu club helped speed the band's success.
Like-minded bands like Wax Poetic and the Nublu Orchestra had made the club the hip spot 2004 for adventurous pop fans and Brazilian Girls' freeform, bouncy kind of jamming fit right in. Soon they had the Saturday night slot at Nublu, and the East Village press had fallen in love with them. Murphy and Johnston made appearances on John Zorn's 2003 album Voices in the Wilderness and every Brazilian Girl contributed to Wax Poetic's sophomore release, the Nublu Sessions, the same year. The Verve Company became interested in the band around this time, thinking them perfect for the more pop and progressive imprint Verve Forecast. In 2004 the label released the Lazy Lover (EP), which included the title track -- a chillout room favorite -- in its original form and in a remix by the quirky house producer Herbert. The group's self-titled, full-length debut Brazilian Girls hit the streets in early 2005. (allmusic.com, 02/06) The band's second album, Talk to La Bomb, was released in September 2006 by Verve Forecast, to mixed reviews.
In 2008, the band released a third album "New York City" - also to mixed reviews. In the interim, singer Sciubba returned to France and had a child. Unfortunately, the band announced in January 2011 that they had broken up.

Just keep on going
Until I come
Until I come in
Don't stop don't stop, no
Just keep on going
Until I come
Until I come in
Playing hard to get when we're together
Hard to get there on your own
When will you ever come to conscience
I'll let you be alone
You never had it better
Than when I was with you, baby
Scum back to earth, let's drink some tea and smoke some herb
Don't stop don't stop, no
Just keep on going
Until I come
Until I come in
Don't stop don't stop, no
Just keep on going
Until I come
Until I come in
Now I know it takes three balls to juggle
50 cents of humor's worth
When and how did I become my mother
Am I getting on your nerves?
Lets just not talk about it and fill the blanks with space
Go to the park later
Get some, ice cream
Don't stop don't stop, no
Just keep on going
Until I come
Until I come in
Don't
Don't
Just keep on going
Just keep on going
La la la la la la la
La la la la la la la
Don't stop
Don't stop
Just keep on going
Until I come
Until I come in
Stop
The lyrics of Brazilian Girls' song Don't Stop: Riton Re-rub is a mix of different themes, including seduction, relationships, self-reflection, and self-doubt. The song talks about playing hard to get in a relationship, and how it's difficult to get to the end goal when one is playing games. The singer encourages her partner to keep going until she reaches her pleasure point. However, the lyrics also suggest that the relationship isn't healthy, as the singer indicates that her partner never had it better than when she was with him, implying that he's not treating her well. The lyrics also touch on self-reflection and self-doubt, as the singer questions when and how she became her mother and if she's getting on her partner's nerves.
The chorus "Don't stop, don't stop, no, just keep on going until I come in" is a clear invocation of sexual pleasure. The lyrics are straightforward and direct, expressing the singer's desire for her partner to keep going until she reaches her climax. The song also features a reference to drinking tea and smoking herbs, suggesting that the couple might use these substances as a way to unwind and relax during their time together.
Overall, the song's lyrics are a mixture of desire, frustration, and self-reflection, with a focus on relationships and sexual pleasure. The singer invites her partner to keep going, but also questions whether the relationship is healthy and admits to her own insecurities and doubts.

No joke, I've been searching for this song for around 10 years. It was playing on Channel V at 2AM in 2009 and I was about 12 years old at the time. It was just such a bizarre video that it stuck in my head and I just couldn't forget it. Took a good long while but I managed to find it ❤

I met Sabina many years ago, after a show in Buenos Aires. She was so nice and warm, I felt shy to ask her an autograph, instead she gave a hug.
