Let Me Know
Bread and Bones Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Had to come back with a bang
4th quarter try to count me
Now I'm back in the game
They think they know me well I ain't the same
I leveled up when I went threw the flames
Been putting in work
How you think I got stain
That ain't never gone change
They think they know me well I ain't the same
I leveled up when I went threw the flames
Feels good to be on the block
Feels better when you on the top
Big Slice I Call the shots
They transform like auto bots,
They calling me Optimus
And all of my obstacles done made me a Optimus
You niggas ain't stopping this
No way it was written on prophecies
I walk how I walk
They walk threw flames them niggas got scorched
I move like a boss
I'm taking the throne then passing the torch
Really gone floss
Want I want bout to conjure it all
Designer the cloth
My slice different can't find it no more
They gone really know my name
Had to come back with a bang
4th quarter try to count me
Now I'm back in the game
They think they know me well I ain't the same
I leveled up when I went threw the flames
Been putting in work
how you think I got stain
Know my haters gone lurk
That ain't never gone change
They think they know me well I ain't the same
I leveled up when I went threw the flames
They just do it for clout
Breadication what I'm really about
I figured it out
None of these niggas could really amount
To the man that man that I am now
One of the best from the ham now
Never looking for a hand out
I'm outstanding and I stand out
Super sayian with the flow now
They gone really see the glow now
Fans wanna see me go wild
Mosh pitting with the whole crowd
Bread Walk never stumbling
Secure the bag never fumble it
Invest that then we double it
Now celebrate sip bubbly
They think they know me
But hey don't know me
They think that know me
(Hold up Hold) I'm way different from the old me
They gone really know my name
Had to come back with a bang
4th quarter try to count me
Now I'm back in the game
They think they know me well I ain't the same
I leveled up when I went threw the flames
Been putting in work
How you think I got stain
Know my haters gone lurk
That ain't never gone change
They think they know me well I ain't the same
I leveled up when I went threw the flames
The lyrics to Bread and Bones's song "Let Me Know" speak of the artist's journey to success and the obstacles he faced along the way. The first few lines state that the artist wants to make his name known and that he's returned to the game with a bang, after facing setbacks in the past. He believes that people think they know him well but he's no longer the same person. He's "leveled up" after going through difficult times which have made him stronger. He has worked hard for everything he has achieved and the haters will always be lurking but that will never change his determination to succeed.
The second verse talks about the artist's confidence in his abilities and how he is different from other rappers who are just looking for fame. He has figured out what he wants and is determined to achieve it. He says that none of these rappers can amount to what he has become, and that he's one of the best from where he comes from. He's not looking for any handouts, he's outstanding and he stands out. The artist mentions the transformation he has gone through and how it has changed him and set him apart from who he was before. He's gone through the flames and come out stronger and more determined than ever.
Overall, the song has a positive message, urging people to chase their dreams despite the obstacles they may face. It emphasizes the importance of leveling up, of consistently striving to be better and standing out from the crowd.

You sheltered me from harm
Kept me warm, kept me warm
You gave my life to me
Set me free, set me free
The finest years I ever knew
Were all the years I had with you
And I would give anything I own
I'd give up my life, my heart, my home
I would give everything I own
Just to have you back again
You taught me how to love
What it's of, what it's of
You never said too much
But still you showed the way
And I knew from watching you
Nobody else could ever know
The part of me that can't let go
And I would give anything I own
I'd give up my life, my heart, my home
I would give everything I own
Just to have you back again
Is there someone you know
Your loving them so
But taking them all for granted?
You may lose them one day
Someone takes them away
And they don't hear the words you long to say
I would give anything I own
I'd give up my life, my heart, my home
I would give everything I own
Just to have you back again
Just to touch you once again
