Are the words I wanna hear everyday
You're mine
Are the words I wanna feel when you say
I'm yours, I've told you so many times
Now you know
My love is yours, and I'll be yours
And I've told you many times ago
I love you, and I showed you
And I've told you many times ago
Ngitshele ngingowakho
Ngitshel'uyangithanda
Ngitshele uzongifela
Ngitshele ngingowakho
Ngitshele ngingowakho
Ngitshel'uyangithanda
Ngitshele uzongifela
Ngitshele ngingowakho
So kiss me when you're sorry
So I could feel all your love
Emhlabeni wona wonke
Soz'abikho onjengawe baby
Iza kimi, bamb'isandla
So I could feel paradise in you
My love is yours, you are mine
I love you, and I showed you
And I've told you many times ago
I love you, and I showed you
And I've told you many times ago
Ngitshele ngingowakho
Ngitshel'uyangithanda
Ngitshele uzongifela
Ngitshele ngingowakho
Ngitshele ngingowakho
Ngitshel'uyangithanda
Ngitshele uzongifela
Ngitshele ngingowakho
I love you baby
In these lyrics, Brenda Mtambo is expressing her deep and unwavering love for her significant other. She proclaims her love multiple times and emphasizes that she wants to hear it every day. She also expresses her desire to feel that she is loved and that her partner is hers. She reassures her significant other that her love is constantly and unconditionally his, and that it’s reciprocated.
The chorus repeats the phrase “I love you, and I showed you, and I’ve told you many times ago.” This repetition serves to emphasize the depth of the love she has for her partner, as well as the importance of showing that love rather than just saying it.
The second half of the song is in Zulu, in which Brenda sings of her deep love for her partner and the intensity of the emotions they share. She speaks of wanting to feel their love and kisses when they are sorry, and wanting to hold their hand and feel paradise in their love.
Overall, “I Love You” is a passionate love ballad that highlights the importance of expressing love, feeling loved, and embracing each other’s love. Brenda’s soulful voice and powerful lyrics capture the depth of emotions that come with loving someone.

As you may know John, I try hard to find those superb tracks that Brenda (like other artists) recorded for Motown, but they were put by, and I'm sure they intended on releasing them, but there were so many in those days that they were just forgotten, until now!! so I'm really glad you like this, and Brenda at last, deserves the credit eh? from a good time!! Cheers, JOHN
