So Good%2C So Right
Brenda Russell Lyrics

We're on the shores of nowhere
looking out to sea
i turn and kiss your face and you laugh at me, laugh at me
how do i feel when I feel like rain
feel like saying
it feels so good so right to be with tonight{chorus}
There is no space between the ocean, you, and me
Exchanging life force as we live and breath
together we'll be
how do i feel when i feel like saying
feel like praying
feels so good so right to be with you tonight{chorus}
you make me feel so young the way we laugh and play
like a child in the sun
you know I wanna stay
in love this way
how do i feel when i feel like praying, feel like saying
It;s feels so good so right to be with you tonight

I can relate in the sense that whenever I hear of songs playing in my mind, I YouTube them up and play them.

This too has a sweet memory of my mother...it was 1982.. my mother and father went through a divorce..from TX we moved in with family over in Michigan... adjusting at the age of 10yrs old to a new school..new people.. was scarry for me...I wanted desperately to be back with the only friends I knew..
But on Saturdays my mother would play this loud while she was cleaning.. I still have my mom but she became an alcoholic and don't have much of a relationship with her...

Brenda Russell, wow. How do you sum this lady up? You can't! This lady is one of pioneers of pure rhythm and blues. I could talk about other artists what good would that do when I'm speaking on Brenda right now. "So Good So Right, Way Back When, and God Bless You " these are the songs she's given us to start us off. This is how old school can never be compared to today's music. This lady has left her mark on the music industry and me. Sometimes it's nice to sit back and find a song or songs to get you in the mood, you play Brenda you'll feel you're already there. Brenda Russell a true pioneer, a true artist. Forever Music Forever Brenda Russell

No! No! No!....🤷I get what your saying...BUT!!!!!! What Makes Brenda SPECIAL is She is Completely "TIMELESS"....She doesn't have a distinctively defining era sound.. She's "Cross Generational" Transcending through time ... I Absolutely guarantee you that this song could be played in the 18th century and in the years to come and still be just as FEEL GOOD AS EVER💯
