Those same qualities have caused Brett's songs to be featured on TV shows like The Real World on MTV and Kourtney and Kim Take New York, on the popular Kardashian culture, and his feet firmly planted on some of the best-known stages of the world. : The Roxy, The Troubador, The Viper Room, sharing those stages with some of the best and brightest pop music, from Colbie Caillat to Gavin DeGraw and Katy Perry.
Not bad for what Brett Young once thought would be just a "hobby". But when a big elbow injury and reconstructive surgery finally got him out of the pitcher's mound, he discovered that his love for music became much more, and what the thought was that the end was just the beginning.
"They all leave a trail of 'memories' and bittersweet memories on the way to 'the one'," says Brett. "It happened to me on my trip, it happens to everyone, I now use those moments when I write music, I guess it's lucky for me that people relate more easily to the anguish, I'm an emotional and hopeless romantic who feels everything and that It shows in my songs. "
With three independent albums already to his credit, Brett will bring his latest batch of songs to the studio with David Hall at the helm of production, known for his GRAMMY award-winning work as an engineer, with artists from almost every genre. And true to form, he will be showing that intensity and emotion in his recordings, from songs like "Fire" and "Breathe Again".
"I grew up with Al Green, singers of Marvin Gaye-soul, I like emotion to lead songs, where music is almost secondary," he says. "Crazy Love" by Van Morrison, that's simply timeless. They influence me; As a composer and interpreter, I want to connect as they did. And when your audience feels that they can relate, then you have something much more special than a show or a sale. You have a fan. "When it comes to Brett Young, it's not that far from a pitcher's mound on a main stage, and it does not really matter what kind of Big Show you're talking about, because in the end, when you have that thing called heart, You can see it in his eyes, but he will hear it in his voice.
Since then, Brett has played on stages ranging from House of Blues to Troubadour, and shared stages with artists such as Mandy Moore, Tyrone Wells, Jason Reeves, Gavin Degraw, Tyler Hilton, Katy Perry, Hoku and many more. Brett recently released his second album, Make Believe and is currently in the studio finishing his last album.

It had only been eight weeks
Standing there, starin' at that screen was the
First time you ever scared me
God knows I don't know
Exactly what I'm doin', but
Good news, we got her to get through it
I hope you look just like your mama
And love her like I do
You'll see close to perfect patience
If you watch her every move
You can always run to daddy
You'll always be my baby, but
Look at her, baby girl
And you'll learn
How to be a lady
Just how to be a lady
Mm-mm
I can make you laugh 'til you cry
But she can make your tears dry, and
When you get your heart broke by the wrong guy
She can make it right
I hope you look just like your mama
And love her like I do
You'll see close to perfect patience
If you watch her every move
You can always run to daddy
You'll always be my baby, but
Look at her, baby girl
And you'll learn
How to be a lady
Mm-mm
Just how to be a lady
Oh
She'll hear you
She'll hold you
She'll help you through
She'll fix you
And me too
I hope you look just like your mama
And love her like I do (love her like I do)
You'll see close to perfect patience
If you watch her every move (every move)
You can always run to daddy
You'll always be my baby, but
Look at her, baby girl
And you'll learn
How to be a lady
Just how to be a lady
The song "Lady" by Brett Young is a tender and heartwarming tribute to a father's hopes and dreams for his daughter. In the song, the singer sings about his unborn daughter and the overwhelming emotions he felt when he first heard her heartbeat. He admits to not knowing exactly what he is doing as a parent, but is grateful that he and his partner have each other to help them navigate parenthood. He hopes that his daughter will look just like her mother and love her as much as he does, and he vows to always be there for her as she grows up. He also acknowledges that his daughter's mother has a special role in shaping their daughter into a lady, and that he hopes their daughter will learn how to be strong and caring from her.
One of the most touching aspects of the song is the way it celebrates the bond between a father and daughter. The singer recognizes that while he can make his daughter laugh, her mother will be the one who can comfort her and dry her tears. He acknowledges that there will come a time when his daughter will experience heartbreak, but he trusts that her mother will be there to help her through it. The song also highlights the importance of having strong female role models in a girl's life and the positive impact they can have on her development.
Overall, "Lady" is a beautiful and heartfelt tribute to the special bond between a father and daughter, and the hopes and dreams parents have for their children as they grow up.

Currently 10 weeks pregnant. We have two boys and hoping for a girl. We find out next month💗
Just a small update. We are having a girl just like we wanted💓💓
Thank you all. Unfortunately we received some concerning news at our anatomy scan on Monday. They found a small amount of fluid around her heart and we have to get another ultrasound in 2-3 weeks to see if it's still there.
At our follow up ultrasound the fluid was going away. However we still need to see a specialist because at my last prenatal appointment her heartbeat was irregular, so my doctor wants to make sure everything is okay and that she is getting proper blood flow.
She was born September 19th at 42+2 and perfectly healthy. There haven’t been any more issues with her heart.
