I have a nostril peircing and I promise it doesn’t make that noise lmao it feels like a very fast, tiny pinch and the whole thing is done in seconds. There is a sharp soreness after but it goes away within a day or two. Don’t let the horror movie sound effects in this video scare you, it’s nothing like that. Also something most people know, but I’ll say it anyway: PLEASE don’t peirce your own nose (or body in general). Chances are you won’t do it right and you’ll probably hurt yourself or get an infection. Go to a professional.

To the people who want to get their nose pierced, this video is just extremely intense. When I got mine Pierced, I sat down, she asked me if I was ready and within 20 seconds everything from the piercing untill the jewelry got in was done. I am very sensitive with Needles so I Felt dizzy, got myself Some sugary stuff and then got better. And tbh, it was indeed a Sharp pinch for like 2 seconds but once its in, the needle pushing through etc really isn't that bad and you'll enjoy it for the rest of your life :)

For me its not only aesthetics. Its also a symbol for myself that I can withstand pain. I have an anxiety disorder and i feel like my piercings symbolise ive lost my innosence of life. But i can survive pain. The procedure itself is almost cermonial.

I got my nose pierced like a 2 hours ago and at first I was really nervous but then she put the needle in and it wasn’t to bad. I would rate the pain like a 5/10 but everyone is different. I recently got my nose and my septum pierced and they were both very quick and my piercer made it as painless as possible. I tolerate a lot of pain but I wouldn’t say I have a high pain tolerance more average I would say. The nose piercing was like a 5/10 and my septum was like a 2/10 felt like an ear piercing tbh. They are healing incredibly well and were both only sore within the first hour of having them. I’ve had them for about a week and a half. It all happens quickly if you have a good piercer so if you wanna get them done get them done yolo don’t doubt yourself because I put it off for like two years which is why I got both done the same day so I wouldn’t put one off.

Every person deals with pain differently, for me I was terrified to have my cartilage pierced because every single person I talked to said it hurt like hell but when I finally did it back in 2017 I did not feel a thing! Was not painful at all and when I was 15 I had my belly button pierced because I seen that all my fav. Singers including beyonce, Christina Aguilera,and Britney spears had theirs done and I wanted one even more..it did not hurt but I passed out on the piercing table because my anxiety was extremely high. When I was 13 I had 3 holes in each ear lobe that did not hurt. Okay so the same with all the other piercings I was petrified when I got my nose pierced Wednesday Jan.6th 2021. I was told in the past that it did not hurt that I'd have a little tear drop out of one eye..well the guy told me the same thing on Wednesday he even gave me a tissue and said here this is for your tear lol..he said I'm going to count to 3 when I do it and itll be over.. he tricked me ..he pierced my nose as he was saying that so I would not be so scared which helped because it did not hurt and guess what?!?!?... I did not even need that tissue my eye or eyes did not even tear up! So you see everyone is different and if you look on my youtube channel you will see my nose piercing ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
My advice would be to not to ask anybody if their piercings hurt them because what may have hurt them may not even affect you🙂🙃 Hope this helps!

When i do a nose piercing i push the needle through, followed directly by the stud from the outside, needle leaves as stud replaces it- all in one swoop. I use a longer stud for the initial piercing to allow room for a little swelling if it occurs and the healing processes in general. Then later the individual can change the jewelry if they wish, after its healed.

I actually got my nose pieced TWICE but then I went to a doctor to get it checked(because it was a bump; the same thing happened for my second ear piercings) and he said that because I have sensitive skin I can only wear gold nose rings and studs. Guys I have a nose piercing too but mine was done in a different way. For me the person got a VERY thick stick numbed my nose and then, did it in like two seconds, eyes watered. Rethinking that day, I was being over dramatic. It's nothing. I recommend you to do it.

If you're thinking of getting a nose piercing just do it! I was freaking out beforehand for days but when my piercer said "all done" I was shook! I didn't even realize he did it until it started to feel a bit warm! So worth it.

I was shocked that when I got my nose pierced I didn’t feel any pain it simply just felt like something was in my nose and it shockingly didn’t bleed. It was sore for just a few days that was the only discomfort.

I just got a snakebite piercing on my left ear yesterday. I got it done with a piercing gun. Now is it worser than a needle? Sure. But it worked for me and it’s only been swollen the first 3-4 hours after getting it down and it doesn’t hurt to sleep with it. It worked for me and that’s all that matters. Do what works for you but make sure your HAPPY with the actually piercing and placement. ❤️

Got my nose pierced today and I’m glad I didn’t watch this before I do it cz that’s really scary lol it actually wasn’t that bad, it hurt but for like 20 seconds until the stud was in. I have a low pain tolerance and I don’t mind it that much

I got my nose pierced and it was the total opposite of this video. The pain was excruciating and it took the piercer 15 to 20 minutes to do the piercing. She said I had a tough layer of skin and I was bleeding so much that she asked if I took ibuprofen. I felt like I was being tortured as it wasn’t one quick pierce…it felt like she was creating a new nostril.

This is crazy how i got my ears, lips and nose pierced and still it hurts my lower stomach/private part to watch that. My knees become weak and my palms are sweaty. The thing is, piercing are painful but for such a small instant. The fear of the anticipation is 95% of the problem vs 5% of real pain. When I got my nose pierced I almost fainted from the paid, I’ve got a sensitive nose and thin blood so I was in a lot of pain. If your like the girl in this video your lucky and it won’t hurt that much but I would take into consideration if your like me

MY EXPERIENCE & SOMETHING I WISH I KNEW
I got one side of my nose pierced and I have sensitive skin, so it took longer to heal than my sister's and I had a piercing bump for a while, but it's healed now. Then, I went to go get the other side pierced, but the original place I went was closed, so I went to a different shop. The lady was nice, but one thing she did that I noticed after the fact was she washed her hands, put on her gloves, and then she touched everything, her chair, the mirror, the form, etc. and then preceded to touch all the things she pierced me with without washing her hands or changing gloves again. I should've said something, but I didn't. I did the same aftercare I did for the other side, and I still developed an infected piercing bump which I've had for months, and am still trying to get rid of.

Moral of the story: go to a reputable piercer, and if you think they need to wash their hands one more time, (don't be rude or annoying about it, obviously) but ask them to do it again. It's your face, and your possible infection, its not a big deal to minor-ly "inconvenience" them as long as your piercing is done in a sterile environment. And DON'T NEGLECT YOUR AFTERCARE.

Also: If anyone has any tips for getting rid of an infected piercing bump, let me know.

I first got my ears pierced at a unprofessional MAKEUP place, I had to get my ears pierced 5 times. I had the gun done first, because I went to get my ears pierced with my bestie. It hurt so badly I felt like my ear was being chopped off the first time, when I got the needle done it didn't even feel it! only a tiny pinch. if you live in Calgary A.B then I recommend going to Tribals they are one of the most professional'st places I've ever seen.

The sound effects makes it sound worse than it is. My nose peircing only hurt for at least 10-20 seconds. In my opinion, it's a good choice of peircing

I have pierced my own ears before using the needles and they are definitely better then when I went to Claires as a kid, I did my second lobe piercings myself and they didn't even swell when i first did it and they have been healing great (don't recommend doing it yourself tho, I'm just dumb)
