Sweet Fanny Adams

Here you can see that Brian's voice was awesome as always and he was kicked out of the band for his drinking problems.
Too bad the members couldn't support him and help him to fight against the alcoholism

Written by vocalist Joe Lynn Turner ( ex Rainbow, Deep Purple) while he was a member of fandango in 1980. Great song.......

Larry Fleetwood

Wouldn't have been out of place on Difficult To Cure also.

Rochelle Benson

This is great!! I'm not hearing anything wrong with his voice, how could this not have been a Top 10 song back then??

Don Tommaso

@John Breighner He was attacked by a group of thugs outside a nightclub in Staines in 1974 and repeatedly kicked in the throat. He was treated by a Harley Street doctor but his voice never fully recovered. The band were recording Sweet Fanny Adams at the time and Steve and Andy had to take the lead vocals on No You Don't, Restless and Into The Night.
The band also had to cancel a show with The Who, a show that could have given them the credibility they wanted (and deserved IMHO).

Øyvind Kristoffersen

@John Breighner Yes, but recovered! Band's allways fight against Brians!

John Breighner

@Jake Was he in some kind of a fight?

Jake

@John Breighner Brian was assaulted in 1974 was never the same after that

John Breighner

@Jake What attack?

If this had been his first solo single, immediately after leaving the Sweet in 1978,It could have been a big hit for him.
