I just remember her tan legs standin' on the side of the road
I saw a girl with tanned legs waiting on the side of the road.

Honda with the hood up, covered in smoke
Her car was broken down and smoking.

A thumb in the air, with somewhere to go in a hurry
She was hitchhiking and needed to get somewhere fast.

She didn't say a thing, she just jumped inside
She got into my car without saying anything.

Stuck a gun to my chest and told me to drive
She threatened me with a gun and forced me to drive.

I was scared but she was beautiful, like a movie
I was scared but also captivated by her beauty.

She kept lookin' back like somethin' was comin'
She kept looking behind us as if we were being followed.

Said, "we ain't slowin' down, ain't stoppin' for nothin'"
She refused to slow down or stop for anything.

My truck was shakin', my blood was pumpin'
I was extremely nervous and scared while driving.

But she was laughin'
She found the situation amusing.

I about hit the brakes when we came around the corner
I almost hit the brakes when we turned a corner.

A mile of blue lights, guns aimed and pointed
We saw a line of police cars with guns pointed at us.

Whatever she had is what they wanted
The police were after her and what she had (presumably something valuable).

And it's all a little fuzzy after that
The events that followed are a bit unclear to me.

All I remember is sirens
I only remember hearing sirens.

Blue lights flashin' and drivin'
I remember seeing blue lights flashing and us driving.

Dirt lane passin' and flyin'
We drove quickly on a dirt road.

Tearin' through the red lights
We drove through red lights without stopping.

Blowin' through the stop signs
We didn't stop at any stop signs.

Ringin' from the gun shots firin'
I heard the sound of gunshots being fired.

One curve away from dyin'
We were very close to crashing and dying.

The man on the radio reported the chase
I heard a news report about the police chase we were involved in.

And all about the beauty
The news report mentioned how beautiful the girl was.

How she cleaned out the bank
The news report said she had robbed a bank.

She was armed and dangerous
The girl was dangerous and had a weapon.

And almost got away but they found her
The police almost didn't catch her, but they eventually did.

She was cussin' at choppers
She was swearing at the helicopters that were following us.

They were swirlin' around
The helicopters were circling around us.

Reloadin' her revolver every couple-a rounds
She was reloading her revolver every few shots.

Shot off a couple shots
She fired a few shots.

But they wouldn't back down
The police continued to pursue us.

We were all out of road and I knew she could tell
We had reached the end of the road and I sensed that she knew it.

'Cause she leaned across my lap and buckled my belt
She leaned over me to buckle my seatbelt.

And kissed me on the cheek, said "Thanks for the help, hold on, boy"
She kissed me and thanked me for helping her, then told me to hold on.

Well, she yanked the wheel and I held my breath
She took control of the steering wheel and I was scared.

We flipped so many times we shoulda been dead
We flipped the car several times and should have died.

And that's all I got
That's all I remember from the experience.

Blue lights flashin' and smilin'
The blue lights of the police cars seemed almost happy about catching us.

And her blue eyes flashin'
I remember her blue eyes shining.
