God has truly defeated even the most convincing of counterfeits: the false prophets and the false Apostles!
Those guys really drive me mad! They contradict each other! They confuse me! I don't know where they get their information from. But they sprinkle in just enough scripture that you can't just dismiss them outright. Worst of all, they completely discredit the genuine Christians.
But God is God. And Jesus is God. And the Holy Spirit is God. God knows how to vindicate Himself. Jesus knows how to vindicate Himself. And the Holy Spirit definitely knows how to vindicate Himself, even if it means bringing Ananias and Sapphira to an early end.
God is Spirit. Jesus has become the Life Giving Spirit as the Last Adam. And the Holy Spirit is, of course, Spirit. And the Spirit will convict the world, the entire world, the secular world, the religious world, and the political world, of sin, of righteousness, and of judgement.
