1. Broadway was a post-hardcore/alternative rock band from Orlando, Florida, United States formed in 2007.
Broadway recorded their first release that same year in 2007, which was their self-titled EP Scratch And Sniff, recorded and produced by Lee Dyess (From First To Last, Chasing Victory, Mayday Parade). Broadway won The University of Central Florida's Battle of the Bands in 2007. They later signed with Uprising Records and released their debut full-length album Kingdoms in 2009, recorded at Chango Studios with Cameron Mizell. Kingdoms has a fun, creative take on the modern post-hardcore style, with southern riffs from time to time and some freakishly great features from vocalists: Jonny Craig and Craig Owens. The band went to a more pop-punk/alternative rock sound on their next album Gentleman's Brawl released in 2012. This sound is the sound they stuck with for their final album in 2015: Contexture: Gods, Men, And The Infinite Cosmos. They played shows with bands like: Lower Definition, In Fear And Faith, I Am Abomination, Patriarchs, Of Machines, We Came As Romans, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Mayday Parade, A Change Of Pace, Holiday Unheard Of, Four Letter Lie, and many many more. The band have two music videos, both from songs off their album Kingdoms. The two songs are Same Thing We Do Everyday Pinky and Last Saturday.
The bands last show was a reunion show on January 16, 2016 where most of the original line-up who made Kingdoms played the entire album front to back together for a crazy crowd.

3. Broadway were a reggae band in the '70s. 'Guns in the Ghetto', recorded at Randy's Studio is particularly well known, being released on the Pressure Sounds album 'Randy's: 17 North Parade' and sampled by Dub Syndicate for their collaboration with Gregory Issacs 'Kingston 14'.

And I know, what your thinking, its not a waste of time.
Failed the conformation, from your lips.
You let me know that I, am worth this.
With this done, to much trouble.
Couldn't stop listing all of the things that could keep us apart.
We'll sit back and laugh at the things that can honestly make us doubt.
[x2]
Lets take our time.
Cause I just know,
That watching your romance is a guaranteed killer.
That will leave us dead in the wake.
[x2]
It's getting kind of hard to take it slow.
When I am up all night thinking about you.
It doesn't even matter how long it takes.
I'd be okay because we'd be together some day.
Waiting and hoping for the next time.
Were together and staying up all night
Waiting and hoping for the next time.
I get to stare into your eyes!
[x2]
Lets take our time.
Cause I just know,
That watching your romance is a guaranteed killer.
That will leave us dead in the wake.
But they don't understand they try their hardest to break us apart.
They try to say that we were doomed straight from the start.
But we know the truth and thats good enough for us.
[x4]
It about time I escape the shallow end of the pool.
This feels like something real.
I am moving away from you
The opening line "Just know it's getting easier to breathe" hints at a sense of relief and peace, possibly from some form of emotional or mental tension in the past. The singer acknowledges the thoughts of doubt that may exist in their lover's mind, but they are reassured that their time is not being wasted. The line "Failed the conformation, from your lips" represents a moment where the lover expressed their doubts or fears to the singer, but the singer is glad that they were deemed worthy of being pursued despite this.
The song paints a picture of two people taking their time to explore the possibilities of their relationship. They recognise that watching someone else's romance can create a sense of longing and impatience, but they are willing to wait for the right time to commit. The line "They try to say that we were doomed straight from the start, but we know the truth" may hint at external opinions that may not be positive about the couple's future, but the couple is determined to stick to their own instincts and feelings. However, towards the end of the song, the singer mentions that they are moving away from the person which could indicate that things didn't necessarily go as planned.
