The band consists of four members, Se7en (Lyrics/Production), Mikl (Hype/Vocals), Phat J (Synths/Backup Vocals), and Antz (Hype/Live Production). BrokeNCYDE was discovered by and is currently managed by The Artery Foundation, a team that has discovered other popular bands such as Alesana, The Devil Wears Prada, and Carnifex. BrokeNCYDE released their first single, "Blue Steel" back in 2006, and it became a huge success. They followed with two other singles, "FreaXXX" and "Bree Bree". They are currently on a nationwide tour.

well, they aren't my favorite band, but I enjoy listening to them mainly because they're different. true, maybe they don't play the sort of music that requires years of talent, but they still are able to create something with the abilities that they do have that people like to listen to. the fact that they're willing to create this music knowing that some people will hate them for it is pretty remarkable and deserves applause in my opinion. everyone has their opinions. I respect yours. :)

I see them as a progression in genre fusion, genres have always fused and created new genres and then all songs within any genre sound the same, except for the fact that music technology has progressed dramatically over the last half century, which is why music in the 60's 70's 80's 90's appeared to have more originality. All music genres will now essentially just stick to it's respective subject matter and will more or less sound the same, respective in some genres to musical/vocal talent.

Actually, i have seen them live 4 times now. And 2 were at warped. The other 2 shows were sold out -.- and at Warped, there was tons of people. They are an up and coming band. People like to be different, this music different. That is why they will succeed.
