1. Bronco is a Mexican Grupero group from Apodaca, N.L. Bronco's modern take on the Norteño style in the '80s and '90s helped earn them a number of international hits. Band members José Guadalupe Esparza, Ramiro Delgado, Javier Villareal, and José Luís 'Choche' Villareal crafted a sound that paid tribute to the Norteño tradition while incorporating modern instruments like keyboards, as well as a more melodic, pop style with elaborate costumes.
2. Vocalist Jess Roden, formerly of the Alan Bown Set, instigated the excellent group Bronco in 1970. Kevin Hammond (guitar, vocals), John Pasternak (bass) - both ex-Band Of Joy - Robbie Blunt (guitar) and Pete Robinson (drums) completed the line-up, which made its debut that year with Country Home, ILPS 9124 (not ILPS 9134 which was to be the catalogue number for Nick Drake's next album, "Bryter Layter"). The quintet offered a relaxed, sympathetic setting for the singer's soulful delivery, best exemplified on Ace Of Sunlight, which featured support from Ian Hunter and Mick Ralphs from Mott The Hoople, and Fotheringay's Trevor Lucas. Despite their promise, Bronco was unable to secure a sound commercial footing and the departure of Roden for a solo career effectively killed the group. Blunt subsequently joined Silverhead and appeared in several short-lived aggregations before securing widespread recognition with his work for Robert Plant.

Si te a cansado tu volar
Regresa de nuevo al camino
Mis brazos te van a esperar
Paloma, paloma
Ya regresa que me matas
Con tu ausencia
Paloma, paloma
Tu presencia
No dejes que lagrimas llore
Me falta el calor de tu amor
Tal vez tendras otros amores
Pero ninguno como yo
Paloma, paloma
Ya regresa que me matas
Con tu ausencia
Paloma, paloma
Me hace falta mucho mucho
Tu presencia
Paloma regresa a mi lado
Yo siempre te voy a adorar
De tí estoy enamorado
Paloma regresa a tu hogar
Paloma, paloma
Ya regresa que me matas
Con tu ausencia
Paloma, paloma
Me hace falta mucho mucho
Tu presencia
Paloma, paloma
The lyrics of Bronco's song, "Paloma", express the sense of longing and desperation of a lover who has been abandoned by his partner. The song talks about a woman who has flown away but is being asked to come back to her lover who will be waiting for her arms wide open. The lyrics speak to the woman directly, almost pleading with her to return because her absence is causing unbearable pain. The singer assures her of his love and devotion and tells her to ignore any other potential suitors because she will never find someone who loves her as much as he does. The repeated use of the word "paloma" (meaning "dove" in Spanish) emphasizes the fragility and vulnerability of the woman, implying that she needs someone to care for her and protect her.
The song carries a tone of emotional intensity that is emphasized by the simple melody and instrumentation. The repetition of the chorus reinforces the singer's plea for her to return, and the lyrics make it clear that the singer is suffering greatly from her absence. The song captures the pain of lost love and the agony of waiting for a lover who may never return.
