Under the Boardwalk
Bruce Willis Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

When the sun beats down And burns the tar up on the roof And your shoes get so hot You wish your tired feet were fireproof Under the boardwalk Down by the sea On a blanket with my baby Is where I'll be (Under the boardwalk) Out of the sun (Under the boardwalk) We'll be having some fun (Under the boardwalk) People walking above (Under the boardwalk) We'll be falling in love (Under the boardwalk, boardwalk) From the sand you'll hear The happy sound of a carousel You can almost taste the hot dogs And French fries they sell Under the boardwalk Down by the sea, yeah On a blanket with my baby Is where I'll be (Under the boardwalk) Out of the sun (Under the boardwalk) We'll be having some fun (Under the boardwalk) People walking above (Under the boardwalk) We'll be falling in love (Under the boardwalk, boardwalk) Oh, under the boardwalk Down by the sea On a blanket with my baby Is where I'll be (Under the boardwalk) Out of the sun (Under the boardwalk) We'll be having some fun (Under the boardwalk) People walking above (Under the boardwalk) We'll be falling in love (Under the boardwalk, boardwalk)

I Love This Man's Music.. I don't care what any one else ever says I still truly feel that this is the BEST "under the board walk" EVER done

OzzyCoop

He sounds amazing because he restrains himself. Too many musicians try to "belt out" the higher notes. A true musician knows control. Check out "Devil Woman" by Willis. Amazing musician.

For all those who think he is lip synching, search for The Bruce Willis Blues Band and listen to him there .... then decide whether he has talent or not!! He's been singing for many years, is multi-talented, and hot!! Leave him alone, we love him

I now remember when this was in the UK charts. But I'd totally forgotten about it - or that Bruce W. could sing at all! - till I came across a CD of his in a 2nd-hand shop the other day!! Great stuff, Brucie, you go!!

To all the people commenting that they didnt know Bruce Willis can sing shows two things....1. You're young. 2. I'm old. Thanks!
