The band initially included Dave Stewart on keyboards, Jeff Berlin on bass, and Allan Holdsworth on guitar. For Feels Good to Me (1978) the band was joined by singer Annette Peacock and Kenny Wheeler on flugelhorn. One of a Kind (1979) found the band stripped down to the core quartet. For the live album, The Bruford Tapes, and Gradually Going Tornado (1980), Holdsworth was replaced by John Clark.
Bruford's later outings would be released under either his full name or variations of Bill Bruford's Earthworks/Earthworks.

🇬🇧...one of 2 masterpieces from Bruford's creative period, the second is "One Of A Kind".
I also find this to be true for Alan Holsworth's "Bruford period".
His intonation has never fascinated me to the same extent since then.
Sorry, later there was a lot of "over mindfucked" stuff, especially in collaboration with Virgil Donati...
In addition, it is Bruford's not insignificant achievement to help drummers, who until then had had more of a shadowy existence as "additions", to receive the attention they deserve...
Sorry, später kam sehr viel "over mindfucked" stuff, speziell in Kolaboration mit Virgil Donati...
Darüber hinaus ist es Bruford's nicht unwesentlicher Verdienst, Schlagzeuger, welche bis dahin eher einem Schattendasein als "Beigaben" fristeten, zur gebührenden Aufmerksamkeit zu verhelfen...

@@wholeworld399 I really liked the album he did with Hugh Hopper, Two Rainbows Daily. Got the vinyl, but my stereo's been sadly neglected of late.
