This Time
Bryan Adams [Ensemble] Lyrics

She's my fantasy
An image burnin' in my mind
Callin' out to me
While my imagination's runnin' wild
Yeah, things are getting clearer, oh oh
No way she's gonna get away
This time everything is easy
Any day, I'm gonna make her mine
I've thought of every word I'd say
Give or take a few
But she turns and slowly walks away
What do I have to do
Hey, turn up your radio
Oh, there's somethin' I want you to know, yeah
This time everything is alright
No way she's gonna get away
This time everything is easy
Any day, I'm gonna make her mine
Yeah I'm gonna make her mine, this time
It's hard to take 'cause she's miles away
And I've waited a long time
But the feelin's right, darlin' one of these nights
Yeah, I'm gonna let you know, oh oh
This time everything is alright
No way she's gonna get away
This time everything is easy
Any day, I'm gonna make her mine
This time everything is alright
No way she's gonna get away
This time everything is easy
Any day, I'm gonna make her mine
Yeah I'm gonna make her mine, oh yeah
This time
The lyrics of the song "This Time" by Bryan Adams/Jim Vallance are filled with passion and longing for a woman. The singer is completely consumed by the image of this woman, constantly thinking about her and dreaming of what could be between them. He describes her as his fantasy, an image that burns in his mind and calls out to him. He admits that he's thought of every word to say to her, but she always seems just out of reach, turning and slowly walking away. Despite the difficulties he faces, the singer remains confident that this time, everything is going to be alright, and he will finally make her his.
The song is a classic love ballad that captures the universal experience of longing for someone who feels just out of reach. The lyrics convey the singer's desperation and determination to make this relationship work, even though he knows it won't be easy. The repetition of the line "This time everything is alright" is a powerful affirmation of his conviction that he will achieve his goal, no matter what it takes.
Overall, the song "This Time" is a beautiful and expressive tribute to the power of persevering in the face of adversity and the importance of never giving up on love.

God it depresses me too it’s very sad I try so hard to re-capture the 80s every single day I wake up and by the end of the day I never have the same feelings as what I did in the 80s.
