I didn’t become fully involved with music until we had our first music director, Shannon Harris. He was perfect for our church. I never knew there was such a thing as being a full time music minister. My father was a preacher—so, I thought that was what God wanted me to be. And then, it happened----one day at the altar, God said “I have called you to preach---but I have called you to preach through music.” Ever since that day I went head first into music. When you hear God's voice and He gives you direction, it takes away the confusion and doubt! That is the reason I have worked so hard on releasing an album!
I am on an exciting journey right now. I used to be negative about EVERYthing. Thinking I wasn’t good enough…you know…all that stuff we tell ourselves. But, God has been stripping all that away for a while now, and He is taking me to a new place in Him. I am surrendering to the Almighty’s blueprint. I want to live out my intended purpose! But, I have learned I can’t get there by myself! I have tremendous family and friends who have been there for me! When I felt like giving up on my dream, they were there pushing me forward!
I am so pumped about REALITY, and I feel with all my heart that it is going to encourage and strengthen people’s faith in God and themselves.
This is just a little bit about me…I hope you enjoyed it.
God Is Love

I see a shooting star, caught me by surprise
The beauty of the world and the wonder of the night
Had me asking why
You're a great big God, here is little me
Do prayers that I pray mean anything?
Where do I fit in this thing called life?
And I wonder if You care
But then I realize You love me
Or why would I even be here
God is love, God is love
Oh and i've found Him
Yes i've found Him
God is love, God is love
Oh and i've found Him
Yes i've found Him
Sitting on a step, just about to cry
Stabbed in the back, trying to take out the knife
Somebody said some things, took the joy out of life today
You're a great big God and here is little me
I've locked up my heart, thrown away the key
Never even thought that life could hurt this way
Sometimes when life ain't at its best
And everything around me seems to put me to the test
When the thoughts of doubt invade my mind
Thinking about Your love saves me every time
The song "God Is Love" by Bryan Pound is a reflection on the role of God in our lives and the challenges we face as human beings. The song is an expression of the artist's struggles with feelings of insignificance in the face of a world that can be both beautiful and harsh. The song opens with the artist sitting on the ground looking up at the night sky when he sees a shooting star. This experience prompts him to ask important questions about the nature of God and the purpose of life. He wonders if his prayers have any meaning and where he fits into the grand scheme of things. These are questions that many of us have asked ourselves at some point in our lives.
The chorus of the song, "God is love, God is love, oh and I've found him, yes I've found him," offers a message of hope and reassurance. It is a reminder that God is always present and that his love is all-encompassing. The second verse of the song is a reflection on the pain of betrayal and the difficulty of dealing with hurtful experiences. The artist acknowledges that he has locked up his heart and thrown away the key, but he is reminded that even in the darkest moments, God's love is there to provide comfort and healing.
In summary, "God Is Love" is a powerful and introspective song that explores the challenges of human existence and the importance of faith and love in overcoming those challenges.
