Fragile

Let someone else inside
It takes some getting, getting used to
Having nowhere to hide
Easier to run
Than to stay and love someone
You think that your walls are invincible
You think you're too tall to be climbed
´cause we are fragile
Who'd have thought it
Would be so hard to keep an open mind?
We have our shortest conversations
When you're convinced you're right
If you want to be strong
Why don't you stay and prove me wrong?
You think that your walls are invincible
You think you're too tall to be climbed
You got to accept that you're breakable
´cause we are fragile
And if you're so immune to being fragile
Why be here with me?
I'm just as fragile as god intended me to be…
And I know how hard it is…
When you think that your walls are invincible
You think you're too tall to be climbed
You got to accept that you're breakable
And we are fragile
You think that your walls are invincible
You think you're too tall to be climbed
You got to accept that you're breakable
and we are fragile…
The song "Fragile" by Bryan Rice explores the idea that vulnerability and expressing emotions can be difficult in relationships. The lyrics begin by acknowledging that it can be challenging to open up to someone and let them see the real you. The metaphor of walls is used to represent the emotional barriers that people put up to protect themselves, but the chorus reminds us that we are all fragile and can be broken down.
The lyrics then touch on the idea that it's easier to run away from a relationship than to face the vulnerabilities that come with it. The line "easier to run than to stay and love someone" highlights the struggle that people often face in committing to a relationship and being willing to work through the ups and downs that come with it. The bridge of the song suggests that it is important to keep an open mind and be willing to hear different perspectives in order to strengthen a relationship.
Overall, "Fragile" is a powerful love song that encourages vulnerability and open communication in relationships. It reminds us that we are all human and have emotions that we need to express in order to connect with others.
