Having only played 6 shows ever, and primarily a studio project, Bucket Full of Teeth began work on new material in 2002. Between membership changes, and other members serving time in Ampere, Wolves, and Transistor Transistor, Bucket Full of Teeth have constructed this final recording, fusing elements of Death Metal, Ambient, Psychedlic, Prog, Thrash and Stoner Rock into a cohesive whole much better serving the original musical thesis attempted in their early recordings. Self-Recorded and painstakingly edited and revised at Dead Air Studios over the past two years Bucket Full of Teeth have produced a collage of sonic destruction both heavy and unpredictable. The band has said this will be their final release but rumors of working on new material and live incarnations surface often.
Hollow
Bucket Full of Teeth Lyrics

The lyrics of Bucket Full of Teeth's song "Hollow" encapsulate the detrimental effects of narrowly defining oneself through one singular lens, such as their musical genre or the subculture they belong to. The opening line, "When you define yourself by only one thing," immediately sets the tone for the song's message - that pigeonholing oneself can ultimately serve as a hindrance to personal growth and identity.
The following line, "that's a limit for you and me," speaks to the idea that these self-imposed limitations not only affect the individual, but also those around them. By placing oneself in such a restricted box, they are closing themselves off from new experiences, perspectives, and relationships. The line "we are more than our genre and subculture when we are people first" reinforces this message and encourages listeners to see themselves beyond the labels that society places on them. The song asserts that we are all multifaceted individuals with the potential for growth and change, and that it's important to embrace this complexity rather than trying to fit into a preconceived mold.
Overall, the lyrics of "Hollow" serve as a reminder to listeners to embrace their full selves and to not let societal expectations limit their potential.

Watched this as a 6 year old child and it made my skin crawl and I was paranoid inside the bathtub for a hot minute 😂. Fast forward nearly 15 years later and still as a fully grown man, this scene still manages to give me the creeps 💀
