Buika Lyrics

Gritaban
Las voces del barrio
Triunfo
De noche
Siguieron gritando
The song "Triunfo" by Buika speaks of a triumph, where the voices of the neighborhood (presumably marginalized or oppressed) shout out in victory. However, even in the midst of these celebrations, the memory of a past love appears in the singer's mind. The singer remembers the words and kisses of this past love, as well as the reflection of the moon on the river- a poetic description of a beautiful memory. The singer then asserts that the face of the most beautiful girl in the neighborhood cannot be disputed, as she is the most beautiful of all.
The song explores the bittersweet nature of a triumph - even in moments of celebration, there may be memories of loved ones who are no longer present. Furthermore, there may be a sense of nostalgia, where even though the present moment is victorious, there is a longing for things that were once cherished.
Buika's powerful vocals add to the emotional weight of the song, conveying a sense of both triumph and longing. Overall, "Triunfo" is a poignant meditation on the complexities of human emotions and the intersection between triumph and loss.
