I could see why Paul turn out like that, I'm not justifying the shitfest he's spouting out of his mouth, but I can see why getting fired from your job, beaten up without a good reason, and having the things and people you value being extremely threatened by a group unjustifiably just so that they would not admit to their mistakes, will lead to a person delve into the abyss of negativity. It doesn't matter who you are, anyone would go insane to some degree, especially considering the fact that those who wronged him never got punished.
