I was born in 1965 and as I grew up the music I listened to was the same as my late parents
Frank, Tony Bennett, Shirley Bassey, and ELVIS
They were entertainers
Just came on stage, any stage with an orchestra and a microphone and their voice
Not the horrible AUTOTUNE or backing tracks or dancers - miming
The music now is just so the same and I just cannot understand the words it’s all nasal and their diction is awful

We baby boomers were so incredibly lucky to grow up in an era when musical geniuses shared their creative genius. Beautiful songs that had intelligent lyrics and beautiful melodies just kept coming and we always looked forward to hearing our favorite songs on the radio. These two were among the very best.
