This song and film I think is honestly under appreciated. The book, original cartoon and this all exist on their own and are all great, but this film added on extra/deep/well-written lore to the Grinch & Who's/This Universe it didn't have to. Yeah it has levels of adult humor for no reason in a film mainly aimed at kids, but also as you get older you realize how retable they actually are. Making it weirdly kind of better because your perspective/level of interest grew from once you saw it as a kid. I guess I'm just explaining basic nostalgia & aging at this point, but what I mainly mean to say is this film is underrated.
P.S. I'm just reminded of the trash film from 2018... Let's just forget that one exists lol.
