C.A.M.IL Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Enter Vacant Hall
As the end of the road
Bends to a dream
Where you lose it all
For a broken belief
Served on a screen

It's uncomfortable to know you need more time
'Cause you haven't a choice
In the waking hours leading to your stay
Your overactive heart went slow

Enter Vacant Hall
Such a beautiful world
Lost in a blink
No one else to call for
When there's nothing around
And plenty to think

It's uncomfortable to know you need more time
'Cause you haven't a choice
In the waking hours leading to your stay
Your mind was racing to a close

Enter Vacant Hall
Such a beautiful world
Lost in a blink
Enter Vacant Hall
As the end of the road
Bends to a dream
Enter Vacant Hall
Such a beautiful world
La la la la

Enter Vacant Hall
Such a beautiful world

Overall Meaning

The song "Enter Vacant Hall" by C.A.M.I.L. is a poignant exploration of the complexities of life, particularly in the face of our inevitable mortality. The haunting melody and sorrowful lyrics paint a picture of a world where the beauty of life is fragile and fleeting, and where we struggle to make sense of our place in the grand scheme of things.

The song's opening lines set the stage for this introspective journey, acknowledging that the end of our road leads to a dream where we may lose everything we have ever believed in. The image of a broken belief served on a screen speaks to the idea that many of us hold onto false ideals or unattainable dreams, and how these can be shattered in an instant.

As the song progresses, we are reminded that time is precious, and that we often struggle to find enough of it to achieve all that we hope for in life. The lines "It's uncomfortable to know you need more time / 'Cause you haven't a choice" capture this sentiment perfectly, acknowledging the pain and frustration that comes from wanting more than we can have.

Despite the heaviness of its themes, "Enter Vacant Hall" is ultimately a beautiful and deeply moving song that reminds us of the importance of cherishing each moment we have. It encourages us to confront our fears and embrace the beauty of life, even in the face of our own mortality.

Thank you so much for this - I used to wrestle with getting the cot up or down until I was blue in the face! The secret is pulling up that centre strap in both cases. Also, I now know what those straps & loops are for on the folding base.

@imnoexpert6201

half an hour of frustration trying to set this cot up and 43 seconds into this video I saw what I did wrong :) thanks

So thrilled to see I am not the only one who struggles with these. They are a pain in the arse to assemble and disassemble.
