There is a sense of danger and mistrust towards law enforcement

The singer feels powerless to overcome the negative aspects of society

The workers can't keep the profit everything here is vain
The profit-driven mentality of society is causing people to lose sight of what is truly valuable

My job oppressive, I strive for my blessin's
