Unlike others, I like that Lou isn’t super joyful and happy all the time because everything goes “right” for her. She’s bummed that she can’t jump in puddles or walk in the rain because of her luck and even when she makes flowers bloom, she’s frustrated. This is a very interesting short film. You can tell by their actions what they want. Jenkins is sick of his bad luck making his life so unbearable and Lou is sick of her good luck making her life so boring. But when they meet, their lucks start to rub off on each other. Lou finally gets the adventure she always wanted and gets the break he always wanted. It kind of shows you that in a way, they kind of need each other, and they really do form a bond. Sigh love stories

My dude, trust me, romance ain't all that. And it certainly won't go as well if you're not good with being you. Speaking as someone who's been there, done that, there's downsides to having a significant other that people don't talk about. They're really not wrong when they say you give up a bit of freedom in relationships. Not entirely noticeable at first, but it does start to show, and it does get frustrating. Sometimes you just gotta be good with what you got. Romance can be good, but it's not a direct trade up from being single. You give up some things to gain some things. And besides, the number one best thing to get people to like you is confidence. If you're solid just being you, not worrying about all that, then you're more likely to meet more people, even if just friends.

Honestly one of my favorite shorts! Can watch it over and over. The humor, the goofiness, the irony, the content ending is all great. Not even the implied romance, but the ironic short story line of both having different types of bad luck. Bad, bad luck, and good bad luck, but together they fit perfectly and bring a smile for both. This was actually really, really good. She wants some excitement and danger in her life but her extreme luck makes it so it never happens, while he just wants to be safe and have a normal day but his extreme bad luck prevents that as well, but when together both of their extremes make up a perfect compromise of luck and bad luck so they both get what they want by being together. Really liked this short. Neither character could enjoy their life solo at first. One in fear of getting hurt by his bad luck and the other always being protected by her good luck with no excitement. By a balance of both is just right for both characters to enjoy their day together.

I had to watch this animation in the fourth grade. It was a lesson about kindness. Surprisingly, it really opened up my field of view and I've been a lot kinder to people.
