C.P. Lyrics

I'm talking to my
Black Charlie Brown (Charlie Brown)
Just put yo hands up they tryna hunt you down (hunt you down)
Im searching for the
Black Charlie Brown (Charlie Brown)
If you feeling down just look to the clouds (to the clouds)
I'm talking to my
Black Charlie Brown (Charlie Brown)
I'm searching for my
Black Charlie my darling know you an angel
Didn't get to meet I hope you're playful
Whether a boy or a girl I wonder everyday still
Could you be the joy to my world or just apart of the statement, mhm
I swear it rained cats and dogs the day your mother lost you
And I'm not parting from the name I think that Charlie's awesome
Just think of charlottes web
I must protect you everyday I feel the people stare I tell you in your ear
Charlie know that you are safe here within my arms
Nothing shall do harm you in the slightest as I sing this song
Black Charlie Brown (Charlie Brown)
Just put yo hands up they tryna hunt you down (hunt you down)
Im searching for the
Black Charlie Brown (Charlie Brown)
If you feeling down just look to the clouds (to the clouds)
I'm talking to my
Black Charlie Brown (Charlie Brown)
I'm searching for my
Black Charlie Brown (Charlie Brown)
I'm looking for my
Black Charlie know I write this for you
I'm in the coupe with mom now we just thinking of you
Whether a boy or a girl I tell her that I'll be there forever
No fun and games with your mother she's special
Though she stresses me I love her
I put too much above her like this music I'm confused about a lot things and you
Wish you well until another day I guess
I just look at it like this
God is telling me not yet, mhm
So stop the stress I tell myself so I can sleep at night
I failed to see that planting seeds completely change your life

I need to sacrifice
My sinful ways I'm on a page inside my book completely soaked in tears of pain I call it rain

Stole a key
Took a car downtown where the lost boys meet
Took a car downtown and took what they offered me
To set me free
I saw the lights go down at the end of the scene
Saw the lights go down and standing in front of me
Ooh-ooh-ooh
In my scarecrow dreams
When they smash my heart into smithereens
Be a bright red rose come bursting the concrete
Be a cartoon heart
Light a fire, a fire, a spark
Light a fire, a flame in my heart
We'll run wild
We'll be glowing in the dark, ooh-ooh-ooh
We'll be glowing in the dark, ooh-ooh-ooh ah
All the boys, all the girls
All that matters in the world
All the boys, all the girls
All the madness that occurs
All the highs, all the lows
As the room a spinning goes
We'll run riot
We'll be glowing in the dark
Ooh ooh-ooh-ooh (oh)
So we'll soar
Luminous and wired
We'll be glowing in the dark

'Charlie Brown' is my FAVORITE Coldplay song ever!!!!!! 'Mylo Xyloto' was released five days before my 14th birthday. I had known them for a while but that album was the one that made me a fan. Eleven years later I'm a grown man still in love with HOW MUCH JOY these guys bring to my life. Something about their music makes me feel hopeful for some reason and it's a beautiful feeling 😍. I feel so soooo lucky to have been able to witness their growth as a band this past decade, and it will be my pleasure to continue to pursue their music 'til the end!

Saw them live in Bogotá on Sept 16th, 2022. The most MAGICAL night of my life. I LOVE COLDPLAY 💙💙💙💙😍😍😍😍
